I think Andy Reid can manage Kelsie’s outbursts just fine. If you google I’m sure you can find footage of Reid picking up Kelsie’s helmet after he had a temper tantrum and refusing to give it back.

Sidelines at a football game are often a hotbed of tempers. It always amazes me. You are on video, folks. Acting ridiculous over a game.
It's not about what Andy Reid can manage. It's about respect and consideration for your coach and your fellow players. Angry outbursts are not acceptable behavior. He has every right to be frustrated, but there are appropriate way to express frustration, and verbally attacking your coach during the Super Bowl is not one of them. I mean, that's basically yelling at your boss on stage during a major conference.

Also, it bothers me because it was, as you say, on camera in front of millions of people. If he has no qualms about going ballistic when the world is watching, I can't imagine what he's like when he's not on camera.

Honestly, I don't get the hype around this guy (I am also not a football fan, so I know that I'm a bad person to judge anything related to his athletic skills). At best, he seems like an obnoxious, self-absorbed himbo. Clearly, he has an angry side, though, and that is disturbing.
I finally thought of who Travis reminds me of, he’s like every big dumb jock character from a teen movie in the 80s. He’s full of himself and he’s basically a bully, but he gets away with anything because he’s popular and good at sports.

I didn’t disagree with that. My point was that he isn’t a decrepit old man or a softie. He handled it as opposed to took it. As you noted, he is the coach. He managed it as we would expect any manager to do.

Didn’t say the actions were wise or acceptable.

It's like she's always performing.

She probably is always “on” at public events. She knows everyone’s got their cell phones out.
I believe she is always performing and get the distinct impression that everything she does out in public is about a cultivated image. It’s all calculated for her brand/image/fan base and she seems to be at ease with this.
She looked like she had a little second hand embarrassment at his little “speech” on the podium.
Really curious to see if his behavior gets cultivated.
Not gonna lie, waiting for the next album

My (meaningless) two cents: I thought she and the football player are an odd match. My first thought was, doesn’t she have a song where she sings about being in the bleachers while the cheer captain is dating the football star?

I thought she was trying to play out that song in real life, honestly. For publicity and for her tour. I just think they are an odd pairing.

Why did you remind me of that earworm? Back in the day the radio station in my office used to play it constantly.

But since I’ve heard the song a million times, no, there aren’t any football stars in it. It was about an ordinary girl in love with her best guy friend (whose girlfriend is the cheer captain) and wishing he would realize that they had more in common with each other. A simple song geared towards the younger girls from early in her career but fortunately not about football stars.

Sorry :). I guess I just assumed the guy in the song was the high school football star, since that’s the cliche….cheer captain and football star….prom king and queen etc.

Sorry, didn't mean to suggest that you said that it was acceptable! I think I am just a little frustrated at the number of people dismissing this as "normal" or "passionate" and not obviously unacceptable.
