im in!!! i woke up this morning to a big surprise from my DH!! he bought me the Thames GM in the ebene for my birthday!! i love it...its a beauty of a bag...big enough for all my "stuff"..... its so nice and has such nice little details...i can't wait to get out there and carry my new bday beauty...

Congrats!!!!! I wore mine today and got two compliments within an hour. It's such a great looking bag. I put the Pursket inside and it works wonders; makes it feel even larger.

i loooove this bag!! looks like a galliera but better sized (i'm only 5'2) and has a zipper! :)

I know the Thames is a bit structured but does it slouch a bit over time? I have the damier GM but really want the PM. I am afraid the PM is too small and the GM just looks like it needs some slouch to me.

^ really?? mine is pretty slouchy and doesn't seem as structured as i would have expected. maybe it's because of the wear that mine slouches? i'll post some pics wearing the bag

I looked at the dimensions of the bag and I can't quite tell from them, I know it would be close. Edit: Not *much* A4, but I usually like to carry a 1-subject notebook and the ipad to school.

Any help would be appreciated!

I just tried my iPad in my GM and it does fit in but it is tight. You'd not be able to carry many other neccessities in the bag. A single subject notebook will not fit....the wire sticks up higher than the zipper. Hope that helps.

I am now a proud member of this club. I have been looking at this bag for several months now, and finally took the plunge. This is also my first LV bag. I love the size, the strap drop, how comfortable it is to carry - and - well - just about everything concerning this bag. This thread was so helpful in my decision. I do not live near by any stores that carry LV, so had to purchase this online. Here are some pictures of my new Thames GM:

Funny, I asked that question ages ago but today I was thinking about the thames again ...and now I have my answer! Thank you. Hmn, choices choices...
