Hi! This will be my first LV bag and want to know if Thames GM is really a good buy. I'm thinking of neverful mm, verona pm or thames gm. But leaning toward thames gm. Will the gold plate tarnish or wear over time?

I saw the Thames GM on someone in their 30s today and I thought it was incredibly beautiful. The strap, the hardware and the texture of the canvas was so substantial! I personally think the Neverfull is much better suited to younger women, it's more casual.

I wanted to buy a pm for my mom! But which one? I love the mono, but I can't always afford a lv to mom. Wonder does it still look good after it ages? or should I stay with the damier?

I think you should go for damier - so classy and very versatile.
Mono is pretty too, but there is the vachetta issue. Although if well looked after, vachetta is beautiful with dark even patina.

I also thimk that Damier is better. No Vachetta and so much classier. I have one and love it. Thames looks better in Damier
