BAGLADY14 ~ Have you seen these comparison pictures? You can see that GM holds a lot. Those cases (lightblue/brown & pink/brown) are holding one of those travel plastic wipe cases and a couple of DIAPERS.....they are quite big in case you're not a mama and don't have a reference!) :smile1:

Those pictures are great, but I think the GM is too big. I don't want a big bag. I'm hoping the PM will hold what I need but I guess I'll find out when I make the trip to the city and I can see them in person.

hoping to see more pictures loaded here, the monogram and the damier and all sizes!!! can i ask if the canvas soft? i mean i look my bag to look a littlee..... lazy.... and i cant buy galleria as its too big for me and i dont want a beverly as its too structured.

MORE PICTURES ladies!!!!!

Hi I have the damier Gm size and its very comfortable its slightly structured and does stand on its own I don't think it would be as slouchy as the Galleria but I purchased this one as the Galleria was to big for me I like bags where my belongings fill the bag out nicely with not a lot of room to spare anyway you won't go wrong with the Thames GM I think the PM size is to small.

Looking for a good Damier shoulder bag and I'm definitely considering this one. My only hesitation is the tacky brass plate in front. But I'm warming up to it. Wonder which is better to get...this or the Verona?

I didn't get either the PM or GM. I like small to medium bags but the PM was really small. The GM was too wide, so my third choice was the Trevi PM. That's when I found out how heavy it is. So after going to LV specifically to get an ebene bag, I ended up with the red epi Brea mm.
(this was sort of like when you go to the grocery store to get milk and end up with blueberries and nail polish instead. Maybe I'm the only who does this kind of thing?)

I still want a Damier Ebene. I feel like I need one. I hope they come out with more styles soon.

One thing I can say for the Thames bags is that they are lightweight without being too plain. The shoulder strap length is also very comfortable. Just the right length and wide enough to stay on your shoulder.

so can i go into any LV store and see the Thames GM in the damier ebene? i thought they only carried it in mongram?

The Thames actually came out in Ebene first. Monogram was released September last year.

The Thames PM was my original pick for an Ebene shoulder bag. Now I'm thinking of getting the Hampstead. But I'm still considering the Mono PM (vs Delightful). I like the "structured" hobo look, but it's just a tad too small, and GM looks off on me. Wish they had an MM size!

LOL! I am totally one who goes for bread to the supermarket, and comes back with bouillon cubes and smoked Salmon instead :). ITA too about how comfortable the Thames is...it's just too bad aboud the PM size being too small.

I am really really considering a Thames GM. Just so confused! Looking for a casual Damier shoulder bag, firstly was thinking of a NF MM then a Hampstead and now the Thames. Am interested if Damier Galleria comes available, but can't wait that long, so impatient! I think the Thames and Galleria are very similar. Hmm, decisions decisions.....

I bought the Thames GM in Damier after considering the Hampstead and Galliera. I found the Thames to be more subtle than the Galliera (my botique said they could SO the Galliera in Damier which really surprised me) plus the Galliera PM is pretty big. I am EXTREMELY happy with my choice; it's a great bag, roomy without being oversized and very comfy. Also, it is a little different; I am beginning to see so many (real and fake) Gallieras everywhere. The Hampstead is also a great bag, but I found the top to be too open. Good luck with your decision!!

Hi Thames people!

I recently tried on the Thames at the store and liked how it felt, but then I got distracted by the Brea Rubis and forgot to try the Thames GM with all my stuff in it.

But I'm still on the prowl for a new Damier bag, and I'm avoiding the boutique because the SAs there are seriously mean. I wanted to know if the GM can fit A4, or an iPad (yes, I'm bad, but I seriously cannot function without this thing now). I looked at the dimensions of the bag and I can't quite tell from them, I know it would be close. Edit: Not *much* A4, but I usually like to carry a 1-subject notebook and the ipad to school.

Any help would be appreciated!
