It does seem to be rather everyone's experience and what we've been told is so vastly different. I can't imagine why Cartier would make such a highly anticipated piece limited edition.

As for yet ... yes. But if they can make it work they will definitely expand to others. Interesting to see a Cintrée with these features but I doubt they will go THAT far.
I’ve seen pictures somewhere of one with a metal strap, not sure if it was the small or the large, though.

My SA told me that to his knowledge it comes in a vegan strap only—I also was interested in getting this with a metal strap so it makes me a bit more hesitant even though the solar part really appeals to me.
I haven't paid for it, but my SA special ordered one for me. Earlier, when it was on the website, you were able to order through the eBoutique. I could have placed an order then and gotten it, but I wanted to go through my SA so she could get the sale. Now you can't place an order at all through the eBoutique. It should hopefully be arriving in January. I will report back IF and when I get it. I'm highly skeptical. Have been asking about this watch since July, so until I see it for myself I won't believe it.
Same here. I pre-ordered through my SA but she said that it’s possible it could get cancelled.
I also tried reaching out to Selfridges to see if there was a workaround to have it sent to the US. They said it ships directly from Cartier UK and that there was nothing they could do
