Please share pictures if you get any from your SA! I heard it looks pretty much the same as the Tank Must but with the strap being made of apple and 'solar panel' being behind the watch face (really don't know how else to describe it the way the SA described it to me), there may be some visible differences?

So I just got some information on the colored tanks. Apparently they are all sold out by preorders. They will not even hit the boutiques. Customer service told me they started taking preorders in July and closed them in early October. These are limited edition, so no chance of coming back. Darn. I was planning to buy one as my 2nd Cartier watch.

I heard from my SA a couple of days ago. The Solar Beat won't be coming to the boutiques until January of next year! OMG.
It’s showing as “phone to order” on the U.K. website and I was previously told (by Cartier) that the launch would be in November. I’m going to call and see what the story is here.
As far as I can tell, having trawled the internet, there were some available for purchase in June which are now sold out. My local SA says there have been various delays bringing it back to the market. I can’t believe Cartier would invest time and money bringing this “eco friendly” watch out just for it to be a limited edition, surely? That’s what I’m hoping anyway. I think the coloured tanks were limited in number.
Not sure, I was at Cartier the other day and asked my SA about them. She says they rarely have them in stock now, but she offered to order me one to try on though. Also the strap is vegan and made out of applefiber apparently.
I’m interested in purchasing a tank must / solar beat, so I’d love for some more information / wear and tear about them.
So I spoke to Cartier eBoutique today. The Solar Beat is a limited edition piece and they don't plan on producing any more. Whatever has been released is it. You can't even order it through the eBoutique now. I texted my SA and she saids there's one in the country in the NY workshop and it's damaged. Otherwise no where else in the States. What the...I have been waiting for this watch since July. It hasn't even hit my store yet and I don't know now if it ever will. She was kind enough to ask her manager and placed a special order for me so that they can grab one from International.
I‘m very confused by all the conflicting info out there regarding the solarbeat. I‘ve heard everything from "they are limited edition" to "pre-orders will take a year to be filled and there won‘t be any SolarBeats available for purchase til 2023" to "I walked into my AD and got one"
It‘s really strange to me how a) Cartier did not anticipate the demand for a solar version of one of their most iconic pieces and b) bad they are at communicating what‘s going on.
