Hi, i've purchased LV Ellipse PM From 1998. It should get it soon. Cant wait.

I have a question. I'm thinking of purchasing a vintage mono speedy, but not sure what should I get, 25 or 30.

For those of you who have speedy 30, is it too big and hard to handle/get too heavy etc, considering it has no strap to be a shoulder or crossbody bag?

I have the new speedy25 B in damier ebene, thats why i'm actually thinking of getting the vintage speedy mono in size 30 for the sake of having more variety and not stuck with the same size bag.

But I afraid that the 30 will be too big to my liking and hard to handle.

The inside has only one slight mark and there is a dent no larger than the end of a matchstick on the rear.
When I first saw photos of it it I thought there was fading around the edge, but it is where the cover has contoured against the gusset causing a shadow line.

Do I use a touch of conditioner (Saphir?) on it or, as it is Epi, is it best left alone?

She is still in pristine condition : )
I've had her for years but still looks new and she always gets compliments when I take her out.
Every time I visit the LV store she never fails to make the SA's want to look at it and complement at how pristine she still is for an old gal.

Here is my nearly 30 years old Noe (made in January 1987). I purchased her on eBay Japan 2 years ago for less than 150 euros. The leather was a little dirty and had some water marks, as you can see on the first photo. I cleaned her with a magic sponge. The interior is nearly new and the canvas has no damages. I love her :) the second photo shows her after cleaning and caring.

Saint-Jacques was one of the best selling bag for years. There are many of them out there and they usually sell for small prices. I adore this bag and I am glad to see so many LV lovers still rocking them!
