I tried blow drying fabric inside ever so gently. Then seeing its not making any changes (still damp inside. yes it got realllyyy wet), i stopped. I was afraid it would soften the Saffiano leather making it worse.

I decided to let it dry completely by its own, padded it up a bit, zipped it up completely to retain the original shape, and put it on a shelf unreachable by tiny hands and out of sight so i wont stare at it while it dries. ... also made me forget about it. until today.

Results:
It is not so bad once it dried. The wrinkles are less noticeable, but its still there.
Ah well, more reason to use it more frequently. (side pic shows the leftover bulges, but its not so bad IRL)

Oh I didnt contact Prada because the last time I asked them about cleaning my bags, they suggested i send it to one of their recommended bag spas. I assumed they would suggest the same for this situation.

Lesson: dont have kids.

Hello,
I purchased my Prada a couple years ago on ebay (after being authenticated here, of course). Used it like mad and now I've developed a tear in the interior lining. Any suggestions on how or where I can go to get the lining replaced?
Thanks so much!

If the leather is off, there's not much you can do, I fear. Which color do you have? Maybe you can use coloured leather creme or wax to fill up the spot?
What if the leather is still in tact. Well at least part of it. Is there anything you would recommend?
I have the same problem with my tote, some leather on the corner is chipped.
While it isn't a huge chip, it is getting larger.

Does anyone have any recommendations for repair places in NYC?

Hello I bought my Latge Saffiano tote in march and it has held up fine, but on the bottom it looks as if the leather is rising, from a scratch?? And today this girl at work put her northfCe backpack on my bag and scratched it!! I'm so angry the scratch is like a inch long and since my bag is black I can see it in certain lighting.... Help?? :(

After reading this thread, does baby wipes really work on slight colour transfers or minor discolouration/dirtiness on saffiano leather? I found a very light darkened mark on my BN2274 after bringing home yesterday. I didn't notice it at the store until proper inspection at home. So I'm wondering if wiping it down with baby wipes would really work.

Hi everyone
Is anyone experiencing fading on the gold hardware of their Prada Saffiano bags or accessories? If so, did you have it repaired or replaced?
Hi, I have a Vitello daino hobo that is 3 years old and the gold hardware is also wearing off in certain areas (where the rings rub, and also the zipper pull). I showed it to a Prada SA today and she said to just bring the bag into any Prada store and they can get that fixed. I will update with my experience when I bring the bag in for refinishing.

I am not a high end purse forum but my SO recently gifted me a dark brown calf leather Prada tote. I don't know the model(anyone want to help me ID??) but I've attached a photo HERE. I've ordered apple protectant and conditioner... is that sufficient?
Hi, lovely bag! I just bought a dark brown soft calf Prada tote today and right now it is drying from being coated with Lovin my Bags Miracle Shield. I usually clean and recoat my bags once a month while I am carrying them.

For those who are dealing with color transfer on light bags, I have a Pucci light gray lambskin bag that ended up with color transfer from denim jeans and Loving my Bags cleanser got rid of almost all of it. But after that I decided no more light bags for me... wasn't worth the stress of having color transfer, lol

Can any of you girls with neutral colored bags tell me about the maintenance of them? There is a vitello daino bag in sabbia that I want but I'm concerned about the light color of it. Sometimes I like how the light colors age though. They look so loved, KWIM?
If you really loved the style of the bag would you overlook concern about the color? I absolutely love the style of this one. It is BR4393 in Sabbia, vitello daino leather.

I LOVE the light colors. I have a prada wallet (INCREASINGLY difficult to find a men's one I like) in the saffiano Leather in like a cream color. I DID have SOME color transfer, but it IS kind of expected with a light colored bag.if you take care of it, instead of me throwing it in my montsouris GM, it shouldn't have as much color transfer, but I have the wallet constantly rubbing against louis vuitton canvas. One more thing, even though you probably haven't even thought about it, do not get nylon. It is So difficult to clean, I had to sell one of them because I had a vela backpack in white, and within two months it was grey! I think that the leather is a good choice, if you take care of it it probably won't have as much color transfer!!!!
