I have a small satin fuchsia Prada evening bag that is just kind of dingy-looking overall. (Much more than the pic shows.)

It is zippered and has some hardware as well.

I have two different kinds of Woolite (machine and/or hand wash).

Do you think it would be safe to just immerse the whole thing in cold water and Woolite for awhile and then let air dry - maybe roll up a small white towel inside to help it retain its shape?

Thanks!

Hi ,
I was wondering if you could help me with my Prada bag that I bought in 2012. First of all it has lost its shape, especially on the sides even though I rarely use it and I always keep it stuffed with my winter jumpers. Secondly, there is this scratch or maybe it’s a stain (?) on one of the corners. Hard to tell. Any idea on how to save it ?

A lil' help ladies.

One of our local coffee shops here has the stupidest coffee packaging ever. The cover was so loose and when I picked up the drink, the cover has just detached from the cup and the whole contents spilled on my Prada Tessuto Gaufre. What a horrifying sight.

Now the whole thing smells like coffee. Cafe Latte to be exact-it has milk and I'm afraid that ants might chew on the material and I don't know how to clean it thoroughly-I don't even wanna try. Anybody here who has experienced this? Would appreciate some help. :(

it isn't a stain, it is normal corner wear. not much that can be done unless you want a cobbler to try to cover it up with polish.

take it to a professionally leather cleaner immediately. Usually cobblers, drycleaners or even boutiques can give you a recommendation.

Hey Ladies and Gents,

My Saffiano lux tote is being delivered today and excited is an understatement of what I'm feeling now! Lol! Anyways, I got it in black and was just wondering if there is anything I can do whilst its still fresh to curb wear and tear? I've heard about waxing - has anyone done this to theirs? Recommendations?

I acquired a "Hook" robot. And I would like to clean him up a bit. Any suggestions ? Don't want to compromise it's original state by doing a messed restore. Feels like yucks on the hardware. Just want to clean the residue from old build up.

Hi ladies, I'm a newbie to this forum , so please be nice :p
I got the same problem too with my prada BN 2558 and its in nero color ( coz i thought it will be the safest color ). I kinda love prada because its saffiano leather and peeps said its a durable leather but, I was wrong! it scratched easily from using the bag charm :crybaby::crybaby::crybaby: and i just found this out when i took my bag back to the shop to get service and my SA noticed it. The reason why i service this 8months old bag is because the adhesive on the handle peeled off so I'm afraid if i'm not get them to service my bag a.s.a.p the handle will be ruined.
I gotta wait for 2-3 months thou' for my bag to be fixed. So, i'll update u when i get my bag back. Sorry i forgot to take pictures of my bag before it gets services coz i just join this forum. But ill definitely let u guys know when my bag is repaired. By the way does anyone know how to fix the scratches? at least make it more invisible?
thanks ladies :hugs:

:tpfrox:

Hi, is it true that Prada bags should not be stored in its box? That is what the SA told me. She said that the heat might damage the leather and make it wrinkly.

How do you store your bags when not in use? Thanks

I already answered you on the other thread - but in short, yes, it should be left out of the box.

The box does not allow air to circulate and the leather can dry out as it cannot breathe.

I store my bag upright, stuffed and sides unbuttoned. Every few weeks I turn it flat on it's back to ensure the bag doesn't sag from standing upright.

So far so good, I've had mine for nearly a year now.

Thanks for this! I took it to lovin' my bags here in the Philippines a day after the incident. Just got it last week and love that the nylon material looks so black and almost new! LMB is the bomb! :)

I have no advice on how to clean this purse! I have been wearing my caramel colored Lux for 1.5 years. Recently took it into Neiman Marcus for servicing as I am having issues with the seam seals peeling and involuntary thread pulls. They will also have the servicer clean and re-dye the Lux as well which I think will help the faded spots where some of the color has rubbed off. All of this is being done by an authorized Prada repairman.

You ladies may be interested in finding one locally!

Hi just wondering how much you'd paid for the servicing?? thanks!

Just got my first Peasant, a new old model BR4372. I can't find any care instruction inside the bag, could have accidentally thrown it away.
Any advice how should i store, clean, moiturize(?),... please.
