Hi I've had my prada saffiano double zip tote for 2 weeks now and ive noticed that one of the zips does not zip all the way like the other zip does. It kind of stops at the two stubs at the end. I'm wondering if this is considered a defect and can I get it repaired? the gold hardware has also chipped off a bit at one of the ringlets where the handle is located so would they somehow fix that too?

Yeah, I reckon you can argue its a hardware defect. And show the Prada SA that one side zips more than the other. It's only been two weeks as well! So the gold shouldn't have chipped off already. You're paying $2000 on a bag, and so the quality and looks should be close to perfect!

jlyt218: Have you visited the Lovin My Bag website? I just discovered them a few minutes ago, on another thread. They have a conditioner (Most Delicate Moisturizer) that is specifically for lambskin; I wonder if it would work on your Prada? They mention that it is for Chanel bags, but if your Prada is lambskin, it may be worth emailing them and asking.

Good luck... it's a stunning bag! And I wouldn't feel too bad about it looking a little "well-loved"... it seems to me that if you're gonna pay that much for a bag, it ought to be on your arm, not hiding in your closet! ;)

Hi ladies,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could locate a strap for a prada leather gaufre bag?

I have lost mine (left it on a train of all places!) and would like to replace it. Is it worth getting in touch with prada themselves? The bag is a few years old and don't know if they would still have the original strap 'in stock'.

I'm using a strap from another bag at the moment but its just not the same......

Thanks in advance

The stitching on the handles of an older bag have come loose a bit with wear and age.. Also a bit of a darker patch/stain on the body of the bag ..

Any advice appreciated

I had a stain on my Prada bag and recently heard about Rago Brothers Shoe and Leather Repair in New Jersey. I sent my bag there and they said they can fix it and send it back in a week. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Hi all, recently my dog chewed on my prada woc and it looks pretty bad. Ripped and teethmark on the sides of the wallet. I brought it into the prada store and they say they can't do anything about it :( is there anyway I could do to fix it?

That is pretty severe damage and I can see why Prada would not want to deal with it. Research some local cobblers in your area and see if there is anything they can do.
Good luck

Has anyone noticed denting on their BN2274? Is there any way to repair/avoid this from getting worse? I lost my original dust bag but I keep mine in a very nice pillow case (sounds crazy but it's the best I could think of) and I always make sure to lay it flat in my closet when I'm not using it but somehow it's developed dents and creases in the leather. When I first bought it, it was so structured and now it looks sad. It's Argilla and so of course there's color transfer on the handles because I only wear black but that doesn't even bother me as much as the denting.
