I like this one out of the watches you posted. It looks clean and has some bling without being too fussy. I also LOVE the striped dial on the Omega, but not keen on an all diamond bezel.

I've had my Tag for about eight years now and I love it. No bling on it, but waterproof up to 200 meters - not that I ever go that deep, but it's great when you go swimming! I love the sapphire crystal glass too; there aren't any scratches at all (though I must say the metal band has some light battle scars), and I'm glad I don't have to baby it.

I really like the one that ETenebris likes as well (above). But I don't know if I would get a watch with a white/light-colored face because I find that it's harder to tell the time when the hour and minute hands are the same color.

Swanky,

I too like the Aquaracer with the diamond marker and MOP face. I have an Aquaracer and I wish I would have gotten this watch bc it is so blingy and feminine. I love my watch and it suits me for everyday but if I get another Tag it would def be this one! I attached my watch. I agree with you about the link...IMHO I think it does look outdated, no offense to anyone here but it is not my style.

I was in the market for a watch last year. Tag, Omega & Breitling were on my list. In the end I wanted a workhorse of a watch and having tried on all three watches, the Tag suited me best, it looked good on my wrist. The two tone steel and mother of pearl effect face really brightened my pale skin. The Omega was just dull on my arm (even though I loved the watch). The Breitling was huge and heavy & too sporty looking.

Love the Tag, sporty but feminine. I wear it swimming, which means I don't have to take it off during the day, so it's a very durable workhorse of a watch. It will take you from day to night. I'm not a watch snob so didn't get too caught up in mechanics and brand names!

Here's the one I went for:

I don't buy/sell bags, watches, etc. . . :D
I'm not a collector and I buy for keeps!

I'm so the same way, I am very calculated about the purchase decisions I make and once made, it's for keeps! I've seen your tag on you before in various posts and always thought it looked great on you. I have the same one without the diamond bezel, only markers and maybe a smaller size but not 100% sure, and then a tiny petite sized link from many many years ago. I will always have a soft spot for that particular watch, even though it may seem a little dated to some, I still view it as a classic tag style. As for comments about being a "mall" brand..... I got my Rolex in a mall jewelry store which by the way also sold Tag! lol. That all said, I LOVE the aqua racer, everytime I see that watch it totally catches my eye. But, are you going to want to keep using your link? I do think they are kind of similar overall, not that you can't tell them apart but they are similar in style and size at a glance IMHO. I'm wondering if you should venture into something that will make you want to switch off between the two watches at times rather than just leaving the link to sit..... When I decided on my Rolex, I went with something rather different than my Tag mostly because it was the style I was looking for and partly because I wanted to still have a reason to use my Tag. My Rolex is a mid size, no diamonds but roman numeral markers, and the pink face which is actually very neutral, almost nude on me. I go to my Tag when I feel like some diamond sparkle and mother of pearl, though I have to admit I love my Rolex so much I don't use my Tag as much as I wish I did anymore.....

Anyway, as I go on and on, take your time and if you love Tag I don't see any reason to stay away from it..... One suggestion, have you tried on a Cartier Roadster? that's another watch I would consider personally, it's rather different in style and shape (being more square) but serves the same purpose being a sporty classic watch that can be dressed up or down IMO. The Santos is a nice model too if you're into a very square watch.

I've looked at so many watches lately and decided on this Tag which my husband just bought it for me yesterday. :yahoo: I really like the sporty/feminine combo.

I have a bunch of watches, including an old Tag that has been a workhorse for me -- great for when you are going to the gym, swimming, or anything that you don't want to worry about the watch. It's a great watch that doesn't break the bank.

^^My girlfriend just got this Tag Formula One with the black face. I think Tag gives you a nice leather strap, too. Really dresses the watch up. Size makes it easy to read.
