I mostly got it to have something in each print. I've had Krigami's before and never used them. I decided just to be real and not spend 1K+ on something I probably won't use.

The Speedy is beautiful. I just really find the 30 too big. I may go for the Bleu Neverfull if I can find it. I see you said you ordered it, please post some pics and let us know how you like it.
I have never used my kirigami set either. It just seemed like people are returning their escale items ...

I ordered 2 pieces from the Escale collection. First piece arrived today, the blue TP 26. Honestly, I’m not wowed by it. I wanted to try it because I don’t have any pouches this size. I’m going to think about it for a day or two but I’m pretty sure it’s going back. The other piece I ordered is the blue Neverfull. It has been shipped and will be here next week. This was the one that caught my eye when the collection was first announced. I really hope i like it when it comes.

All 3 NF's are ATB.

Looking at a YouTube video just now, it looks like the lining is similar to the MP- there is no bias tape securing the lining to the bag. It is just like EmmJay described it in the MP- loose hanging. I am not sure about this design change being a good idea. And why did LV do this except that it is less labor-intensive?

I hope those who ordered the NF will share their thoughts. For now, I am going to be a spectator only with this collection.

I did notice in the escale NF and the Speedy there are no seams sewn with the bias canvas inside for structure. It appears the lining is just loose other than at the top of the bag. Did anyone notice that, or find it bothersome? The escale mini pochette is the same too. I wonder if that’s part of the feeling some are having about these bags not feeling as luxury.

I checked my non-escale multi pochette and my mini mon monogram pochette and my two neverfulls - they are sewn well and properly. Here’s a pic of what I’m talking about. Just wondering. It’s disappointing if that’s how they are going to do linings in canvas bags moving forward, especially when they keep raising prices. It’s certainly a cheaper way to make a bag.

When I used to work in tech, one of the systems engineers once said to a customer about a particular computer “It’s runs really very slow, and it’s hard to maintain, but it IS more expensive”. Everyone got such a funny look on their face and then busted out laughing as the joke (although true) sunk in. I’m feeling that way about these bags that aren’t reinforcing lining seams. Oh well. Just curious as a bag purchase in escale isn’t happening anyway. I’m hoping my mini pochette that arrives tomorrow isn’t a total disappointment as I love the look and just love all the tiny pochettes that LV makes.

You and I posted about the exact same thing at the same time! I am really curious too. For sure the change isn’t a good idea. It makes the lining loose and less structured. Hopefully it was only for the LE though you’d think those would be well done. Guess we will see in future releases.

PS looked at the denim NF online and it’s done the same way as the escale. May be a bad trend.

Snap! Yes, the loose-hanging lining grabbed my attention immediately and caused me concern about the direction LV is headed. I have many MP's and NF's (MM and GM) and they are all sewn properly with the seams secured with tape and affixed to the body of the bag. For a collection I was already meh about, this def made me want to sit this one out.
