Wow. Some of you are really mean. Well, if Coach wants to get rid of me as a customer, then all 25+ bags of mine that I have purchased over the past 2 years, at retail and factory, was for naught.
For the record, the SA did not tell me she could not do it in a nice pleasant manner. She told me it has never been done for anyone ever. You would've thought I asked her to rub my feet as I picked out a handbag. I was not even fighting with her. She was short with me and treated me like I was wasting HER precious time. Was I wasting it? Maybe. I didn't think I was.
If she had just told me, Coach changed their policy, they no longer do charge-sends, instead of telling me it's never been done like she couldn't even be bothered with my question, and then pushing me off to the side to help others, I would have left, and driven to my outlet.
For the record, I never gave a location and Sara is a common name.
Seriously though, some of YOU need a lesson in being nicer. I mean seriously, Coach wants to get rid of me as a customer? It must a be a real pleasure to work with when you go into these stores with such pleasant attitudes like that.
I just want to say that a year ago, an SA manager at my FP store was helping me find a bag and told me that it was a delete now at the outlets and she found one left in her system at an outlet. She offered to do a charge send for me so I wouldn't have to drive to my nearest outlet to do it. I was sick with a cold and it was so nice to offer to do it. She said it was not something they do often for outlet bags. I thanked her profusely since she was going out of her way for me and waited for her to finish with another buyer until she could do the paperwork. So, I don't believe that it was a new policy change. It is up to the FP managers discretion and I did not expect or assume that it would be done for me again.
I would have to agree that certain people stated their opposite opinion which is fine that's what discussion is for but took it in a nasty unneeded tone and direction, quite sad...us coachies should support each other
Reading all this makes me Thank the Good Lord above that I do not work in retail.
I worked in retail years ago - and I totally agree with you! It made me much more respectful of those working in retail because you can have both extremes of customers. I always find myself straightening things and picking things up off the floor that have fallen off hangersBelieve me, after working in retail for decades, I have the utmost respect for those who can do such a thankless job for such menial pay. While there are some customers who make you glad you chose the career path, there are others that make you understand serial killers a little better.![]()
