I love this scrub and it's the only scrub that doesn't break me out. I tend to use a small amount since it can be quite rough. It's the only scrub that leaves my face smooth and smells great.

I guess I'm crazy because I used it twice a day every day in high school. I quit using it because all kind of people freaked me out about it ruining my skin. But my skin got way way worse after I quit.
It's the only thing that gets rid of my blackheads and keeps my pores clear. I've recently started using it again and it really makes a huge huge difference in how my skin looks and feels.

Ladies, St Ives scrub is really bad for your skin! I'm an esthetician so I learned about all the skincare products. The apricot kernel in the scrub is very bad for your skin because the sharpness of the shell creates rips and tears in your skin and it can cause irritation and broken capillaries. I reccommend a gentler more effective exfoliator such as Dermalogica's daily microfoliant or other professional line.

This product always gets rave reviews but I was severely disappointed. Let me start out by saying I do not have sensitive skin in the least and this stuff made me break out like CRAZY. Ive never had anything make me break out before. I thought it might be a coincidence, so I stopped using it and my break outs disappeared. Again used it, breakouts came back.

I find the beads are far too rough and hurt the skin.. most professionals will tell you that anyway about this product (as above). Its better to use softer beads, even ones that melt into your skin. Thumbs-down for this product.

It is the best scrub ever. Although, if you use it (from my own experience) too often on oily/sensitive skin it can make you break out even more! It destroys your skin cells and for oily skin for example, it can make you produce more oil.
