@sonnetsofsilk Gorgeous! Congrats and it looks fabulous on you

As @Langsam mentioned, I have the same feeling regarding this CW. Mine has been waiting for me in shop for 2 weeks now - only managing to go in tomorrow to see IRL. Wanted to see IRL first because I was doubting whether it would work for me. It does indeed seem to pull more silver than I first thought, as per sonnet's photos, but I suspected it might. Not sure it'll come home with me but it is an absolutely gorgeous scarf and CW.

For those of you contemplating Faubourg Tropical in cw08-- it absolutely reads more silvery gray depending on ties. Here are some mod shots of mine with absolutely no filters:
Stunning. Indeed, I went to see it IRL today and it reads very much silvery in person. Pity I cannot wear it but it looks fabulous on the lucky ladies who can. Doing an amazing job with the knots, really showing the versatility of the design.

Beautiful ! It's so nice to see the real colours. I am finding more and more when I view Instagam, People are putting on colour filters, totally distorting the true colours of the scarf.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I like to do the mod shots outside in natural light. This is how I find the real colors are shown best. Inside does not work for me, it all looks so yellow-ish.
And yes, I agree, sometimes the photos on Instagram do not show the true colors when pepole use all these filters. ;-)

Great photos!!

I visited the New Bond St boutique in London this week just to see this scarf in real.
They confirmed that this CW is sold out in the whole UK and that boutique had one reserved for their ‘VVIP’.
My SA managed to show it to me in real - I couldn’t put it around my neck but just in front of my face.
It was a masterpiece.

She requested it to be shipped from the EU boutiques by confirming that one of them will send it to here but it will take 4 weeks.

Let’s see my wait is worth it :)

Scarfmail today brought me En Roue Libre Chemise CW17.

Not sure if I wanna keep it.

On the plus side, I love love love the bright pink, blue and yellow together. Those are three of my favorite colors. As a huge fan of contrast hems, the navy hem here also appeals to me.

On the other hand, this is my first Chemise/Wash scarf and I'm shocked by how thin and flimsy the fabric feels. If I hadn't ordered this from h.com I would almost think it was a knock-off. Even the hem is thinner than normal! I was under the impression that wash scarves would be softer and flowy, but this feels almost brittle, like crepe paper. I missed the luxurious feel of proper twill.

And finally, the biggest downside: this thing wrinkles like mad! When I get a new scarf the first thing I do is always take modshots with a bunch of different knots. As I do this quickly, the twill scarves don't get wrinkled after. But after just 3-4 minutes of modshots, this scarf was a wrinkled mess, as you can see from the last picture. I HATE ironing so not sure if it's gonna be worth keeping this one. I do love the colors though :( Will decide in the next few days. What do you all think? If anyone has positive experiences to share with Chemise/wash scarves I would appreciate hearing it!
