Mine had black specs as well. Not a good sign. I am just guessing, but that might be why they cancelled the alma, zippy, etc. in this degrade color. I am also concerned about the sunset vernis line as it was suppose to be out for Valentine's Day and now it is launching February 24th. That makes me think there are quality issues as well.

Ugh, thanks for letting me know about your situation. Hopefully if she's able to get another one it won't be damaged. I'll make sure she looks it over really good!

I'm a little disappointed in the way these look, more so not liking the red, but will have to see in person. Years ago I had an epi blue speedy I got so many compliments on. I sold it cauz I felt it started looking old. I should have simply sent to spa! Sigh. Thx for posting.

I think these look amazing! So much better than the older Speedy IMO. :loveeyes: Also I think the red is off in the pic because according to the description it's supposed to be coquelicot.

I feel the same way. Don't like the red at all, there's just too much going on here for my taste. Will have to see the blue in person. Somehow I suspect it may look cuter in the petite Noe style (assuming the base, handle and tie is black), although I'm not a bucket bag person. I was really excited when I heard the Epi Speedy was coming back (and with a strap!) but now I'm back to wait-and-see mode.

A few years back, LV had Vernis speedy cubes in white and yellow Vernis Damier. Every yellow one I inspected had blue specks. It was sooooo disappointing. I'm not sure what it is about Vernis but it seems to be a problem sometimes.

That Christmas speedy looks so bad. Hopefully the colors are better in person
