Makes sense. How long is a long hiatus? You are 100 percent correct the vibe right now from the stores are what have you done for me lately (ie how much and how often do you spend) and client demand is softening in my store but still high.I believe it actually only shows for two years (USA). If you have a long hiatus, they'll remember you and your legacy will help you but there's also a good deal of "what have you done for me lately" and with new customers and ever increasing demand, it'll likely be a big hill to reclimb. (Its impossible to answer the "does prespend expire" question because prespend isn't a gating metric, its a metric of your current competitiveness vs other clients. So as your spend ages, it is less competitive with the spend that current clients have made recently.)
