Since you live in a rainy country, I say get the Damier! No vachetta to worry about and no risk of water stains on it! It's very easy to maintain and it's a gorgeous choice!

Both are good choices. I have a mono 30 and I want to get the Damier for my birthday.....You would love either one......I love my mono because I have always wanted one....Get both!!!

Normally i would say mono since its classic but since you live in a place that rains a lot I say Damier! You will get to use it a lot more.

i have one damier bag, and it looks new- and it's not! that's the beauty of damier. on the other hand, a mono speedy is beautiful, too. sorry- no help! i did like one pfers idea of the mini lin- i'm also a fan of that. and, you get mono, but in a nice, safe palette.
