Bought mine from fashionphile in 2017 (bag was made in 2016). I heavily use my bag. The metal parts also have tarnish but I use Brasso for that. It doesn't bother me but hopefully this gives others an idea of what wear and tear it endures.

Hi, welcome! I think wrinkles on the underside of the strap is inevitable because they are rolled up or wrapped around our bodies and move with us, it's just the nature of the strap. My mono strap has wrinkles and so does my de on the underside. Having said that, I don't know how bad your wrinkles are so it's hard to say. I don't like wrinkles on the side strip of leather but strap, I'm okay with. Hope you enjoy your bag!
Can you post pics? Also, when was it made (look at the date code). Wrinkling, esp on underside, is normal...but I have a new bag now (made in late January) and so far, so good.
Hi everyone, recently I purchased my first speedy 25 b in mono online made in France. there are some winkles on the leathers and tiny hole on the louis Vuitton button. It seems either defective item or returned item. Or are these normal for a new bag?

Yikes! My mono speedy 25b is MIU purchased 2 years ago, and does not have wrinkles. Last year, I purchased the 25b in DE MIF and again no wrinkles. In between those purchases, I was offered to buy the DE version but noted the wrinkles on the side and declined the purchase.
It's so hard to find Speedy bag, so I've been thinking to either return it or keep it and ignore these winkles.
thanks. I read some postings saying it's normal however as well, but some ppl see it as abnormal especially for a brand new bag. I was super excited when I got this bag last Thursday until seeing these winkles. I'm going to call CS, hopefully they have stock for exchange.
Prior to selling both bags, I had a speedy b in mono and de. The sides were slightly wrinkle on the de and no wrinkles on the mono. The mono leather was really soft but the de leather was very stiff and I did not like the feel of the handles for the de. But sold them both since they really were not my style. They were wonderful workbags.

I have an almost 2 year old speedyb 25 mono which has slowly been broken in.
Everything is fine except the centre (the middle section) strap of the bandouliere ( where it bends on my shoulder) is wrinkling. When I stretch it the other way it’s not as noticeable. But just wondering if this is normal for the centre strap?
