Speedy 30 in Mono or Damier?

Hi, I'm planning to get a speedy 30, but can't decide to get the monogram one or the Damier one. The monogram is classic but the damier has no vachetta issues. Let me know what you think?

Damier, I've had mine since 2007 and looks impeccable. However, I agree w a previous post that if it's your first LV bag, mono is more classic. Good luck!
