Speedy 30 in Mono or Damier?

Mono - it is classic. Vachetta isn't as delicate as it seems - I have had mine for a year and have gotten caught in the rain. It is fine - no water spots.

I do like the damier ebene as well but I started off with the mono.

Hi, I'm planning to get a speedy 30, but can't decide to get the monogram one or the Damier one. The monogram is classic but the damier has no vachetta issues. Let me know what you think?

Definitely mono. But I have the Berkeley in damier ebene and I must say it's a great bag for traveling and bad weather. Tough choice. Good luck!

I couldn't decide either when I bought my speedy. But I got it in damier. I love my ebene. But I'd love to have a mono one as well.. Hopefully I can get a speedy bandoulière soon.

Damier ebene - amazing all-weather bag! There are more style options in mono so you could choose another mono bag to add to your collection.

Damier! I bought my first lv over the summer -- damier speedy 30 -- and still am obsessed with it! I was thinking mono for my first bag but the SA explained the damier is just as classic, the first lv luggage was actually in damier print.

Personally, I love the mono when it comes to speedies. It's as classic as it comes, it's hard to imagine a speedy any other way.
