I have TE/YG pave 5 motif, I love it! My SA told me that guilloche alternating with striated stones can be tricky sometimes aesthetically because the striations are diagonal and the guilloche rays go in a different orientation. It sounds pretty to me, I hope you get your bracelet approved when special orders open up again. Maybe you can ask for alternating with pave as your back up option.
Is that lapis pave? Its stunning!

Wondering if anyone has done SO for TE / YG Guilloche 5 motif bracelet? That would be my DREAM one day as I love my TE and YG guilloche pieces.
Have you tried using your TE and guilloche pieces to mock up the look and see how you like it? For instance placing the TE on top of the guilloche at alternating motifs. If you like it go for it, the worst that can happen is VCA rejects the combo for the reasons that @nicole0612 mentioned. If you want to keep at similar price point maybe consider YG hammered alternating if not the pave.

your bracelets are beautiful! I never thought about the striations / rays alignment but very good to know, thanks for sharing. Curious - have you made a request for guilloche/TE SO before?

Yes, perhaps will casually bring it up with my SA next time I see her. I'm really keen on TE / YG guilloche combo as I have the earrings and pendants so I feel like if this alternating 5 motif would "round up" the set quite nicely

Thank you, and I am glad to help. I did not request TE/guilloche, but I did request Chalcedony/guilloche and was told that (at least for RG guilloche) it would be approved for a non-striated stone (blue agate was suggested) or for chalcedony with alternating pave or hammered and not as likely for guilloche for the reason stated. However, there is a at least one person on IG who chose WG guilloche and chalcedony and it was approved, so it may just because I did not want the standard gold color for the chalcedony combo that the pairing was more limited. Who knows, maybe it would have been approved, but now SOs are closed so I will be content with waiting for what I decided to order.

You may as well ask for your preferred combo when the time comes, but keep in mind that SOs are closed until further notice, so you cannot find out if it would be approved when/if SOs resume until they actually do resume. Meaning that it will need to be submitted to Paris for approval at the time that they begin taking requests again; they will tell you yes, no or yes if you change x to y.

Yes, will just toy with the idea and just ask my SA if such combo has been approved before out of curiosity. I've heard that some SOs do not have markup - is that true?

Wishing you luck. Often pave SOs where it is just a metal change from a regular line item do not have a markup. In other cases there would be. Your item would have a markup for example, and even with alternating pave it would because an equivalent alternating motif item is not made in the regular line with tigers eye. An example would be GMOP 5 or 20 motif alternating with YG pave vs RG pave (and with WG pave would only have the WG markup, not full SO markup); of course these rules are not totally uniform and are subject to change.
