Thanks Vigee , she's not going to be the quiet stay at home in the box type, I can't wait to wear her out and about

Good to hear that, PT!!! Love it!

Am hoping for the LE Promenade à Versailles 90cm as a Mother's Day present.

Fingers crossed that my family took my hints seriously. Otherwise, will have to gift it to myself. :faint:

Thank you Vigee

I can just see you in the PaV, a magnificent design with a light geometric and a strong colour

Hoping your family get the hint along with you, fingers crossed X

I caved :whiteflag: NBS Special Edition

It's actually a lot brighter, I photographed the underside in the first pic by mistake, sorry

Vigee, if I may...the prominent red cw on Versailles 90cm seems a nice scarf to pair with your RC B(if I recall correctly), while the bright blues in it(turquoise?) complement your coloring. I hope you do get it, and advance Happy Mothers Day :flowers:

:ty:

I need to get on to the the PaV too, I actually only have a few red scarves and the light, bright red suits me best (I hope). Very special

Fabulous perspective in the Versailles scarf too, thank you for putting up such a nice big picture of it :flowers:

My pleasure! I, too, caved on several scarves recently...but they cheer us up like a beautiful day despite any and all weather :rain::sunshine: Especially the 90cm, for me they are like a little getaway or personal art viewing visit anytime I see one unfold in all its gorgeous glory.

The huge scarf pic was saved by me to pour and obsess over until I committed to it. Ordered the PaV earlier this week, and told DH we just donated to help restore a historic edifice :p Had I your good fortune of access to NBS LE Jardin Anglais, I wouldn't be waffling over the three cws on hold for me. :noggin::sos: I think I am now a fan of Alice Shirley, for I absolutely adore her Zebra Pegasus csgm in the blanc/noir/naturel!

Thanks, scholastican and think that you are spot on with your assessment. Also, love the large pic! :hugs:

Haven't fallen in love with a 90cm H silk in a long time but this one is perfect!

Huge fan of AS here too. I couldn't decide on a cw either and put off my decision, this one is perfect but I even delayed the inevitable LOL. I have the ZP in 2 90s and CSGM too and still excited about the possible Maxi Twillys in the same design. Plus, she is doing a tiger design for AW.

I must try telling BF the same "darling, we just donated to help restore a historic edifice"

Yes, and this time the good deed really pays off all around :graucho: All I need to wipe the doubting Thomas look off DH's face is a tax deductible proof of donation...that or a visit to Versailles to quell his queries

Took forever for me to finally commit to and find the ZP CSGM neutral cw. Excited for its potential Maxy Twilly iteration. Better pump that money tree with Miracle Gro, eep...

scholastican, wait a minute, is the PaV really tax deductible? Must have missed that part and it totally makes sense!!! DH will be thrilled. :faint:

Vigee, I am hoping it will be. DH and I had a brief discussion as to what/how it may qualify. I'll update you all in here if/when I confirm it does indeed prove a tax deductible donation. Right now though, I suspect I may have to wait until I receive the scarf sometime in December to comb through its paperwork for an indication if yay or nay.

Will appreciate the feedback if and when you find out, scholastican. Many thanks!!! :hugs:

From what DH tells me, a donation is tax deductible if you do not receive goods in exchange for it. However, donations to fund drives such as Public Broadcasting Stations and the like are tax deductible AND the stations traditionally thank a donor with a material gift(books, cds, dvds, etc.). This is where the waters tend to become muddled for me, and am very interested how, if at all, these two donation drives differ.
