This is one of the key items I'm interested in for fall, but I have to say the sleeves make it quite heavy looking.

Does this come in the vest version? What's the price?
No vest version. It is a very heavy cashmere. The sleeves are, as for all there heavy cashmere a little boxy.
4800 euro.

It also exist in more neutral color.

What size is your Birkin . . . ?

Those are Kelly 42 (or Maxi Kelly) in togo/etoupe/PHW and Kelly Messenger (size: GM)/PHW in Barenia Faubourg Fauve in the post that you referred to. I did not have a Birkin bag at that time when I posted those pictures. I genuinely love these bags, and I hope this helps!

ETA: For Birkin, I only have a size of 35, and this is the perfect size for me. (I thought of a 40cm size before, but I did not get one and it was the right decision for me.) I have posted some mod shots of me with the Birkin 35 elsewhere on this Forum.

Group shot…

Finally picked up the Andy 26 belt in swift leather. Absolutely love the buckle, the texture and the perfect width for me.

While browsing the store I couldn’t resist also getting a scarf for winter, but I really didn’t want anything too “horsy” (yes I see the irony dealing with an equestrian brand) or loud so was thrilled to find something more muted.

Never posted, but got the Fabourg party pocket square earlier this summer (for a party :) and it’s the nicest pop of colour. Had it in constant use with my suits, hence a bit crumpled.

Lastly, scored a Bastia in box leather on the H website a while ago that I use as a pouch for pills and plasters in my bags.

Will post mod shots next time I wear the pieces. Thanks for letting me share.

I am looking at that belt also.
I loved the one with the chain but the price was not right.

Yeah I saw that one too but the price is INSANE. It also comes in barenia and box but I personally really like the finish of the swift leather which makes it more versatile for my needs.

SA told me the Andy 26 is supposedly a seasonal piece so once they sell out it won’t be back, just something to keep in mind in case you’re on the fence.

Hi everyone! Been a silent reader over the years admiring everyone's collections / acquisitions  Finally took the plunge in Hermes and acquired these 2 beautiful babies (Kelly Lakis 35 in blue indigo box leather and toile and Birkin 35 in barenia fauve) this year! Let me know what you think. For reference i'm 5'7.
B35 in Barenia fauve is #1 on my wish list - love it! Both wonderful bags!

Hey, guys!

I hope you are doing fine.

I would like to ask you regarding Kelly Maxi. I am considering to purchase it, though my daily bags are business ones, like Kelly Depeches o SaD.

I love Kelly Maxi and HAC. However, I wouldn’t buy a HAC because it’s huge for everyday.

My intention is to have bags that I could use everyday if I am willing to.

So my question is for those having a Maxi: do you use it on daily basis? Is it really too heavy?

What would be the alternative? Kelly 40? I am really in doubt, because what I love of the Maxi is that the handle is chunky and I see a more unisex look.

What do you think?

Have a lovely day!

I have a maxi Kelly in gold that I have honestly only used once - a beautiful bag but it is heavy and the trapezoidal shape limits how much I can put in it (I’m thinking of selling it). I have been rotating between a HAc Birkin 36, a Birkin 35 and a CityNews Briefcase depending on how much I need to carry. I also travel a lot and the K42 is just too big to fit under a seat on a plane - as is a B40. My favorite bag is my HAC 36 - fits my laptop and everything else and looks good. I bought D hooks for the singles and a matching strap on ETSy so I can shoulder or cross body carry when needed. The ‘tote’ dimensions of the Birkin just work great. Photos of the bags below. The HAC36 isn’t made anymore so you have to search a bit online.
