If he’s been working for 5+ years then a 1.5-2:1 spend might be enough for a K25. Since it’ll be your first QB it should be ever so slightly easier. SCP distributes its bags really well to its clients too.

Radio silent is not uncommon with H SAs who have hundreds of texts. It can mean she doesn’t have what you want right now, but not necessarily that she’s forgotten your request. I simply don’t think H SAs are as responsive via electronic communication. Sometimes it can take a while, but when you next go in, she might say, I found what you are looking for.
Unless they are chypres (I’m a Madison avenue client, which I think is similar in competition/demand to SCP or BH), and Ive gotten a 25B and 25K offer in the last few months, but no joy on shoes lol)

So from what I know is that the managers at SCP allocate the QB in a fair way. So if a client has never gotten a QB yet from SCP, has reached that “pre-spend” amount, and has a really good relationship with the SA, then that client should be due for a QB. But the only thing would be the availability. They do not always have bags and one would never know until a shipment of stock comes in. So again it’s patience.
That makes sense based on things my sa has said too.
Thanks for the info! Do you know how things are at SCP for clients waiting for the 2nd (or 3rd or however many) QB? Is the pre-spend amount and/or waiting period about the same, less, or more compared to the first? TIA!
I am also curious about this. Does anyone have any insights on this? I only got one QB so far, but its fairly recent so I am not expecting another within the next few months.
I’m still waiting on a second as well but from hints here and there it may be 1 qb/year. But probably spend dependent so might be different for everyone. I don’t drop wads of cash so maybe that may be different for other people who spend more.

Usually yes. A ratio of about 2:1 will probably get you a B30 neutral somewhat easily. But from what I heard from others in the past is that B/K25 are slightly more higher prespend especially for neutrals and longer wait because they are in high demand. My friend got a B30 Gold on Gold last October 2022 with a 2:1 spend (bags not included). It was her first QB. I started shopping exclusively with my SA since summer 2020 (I live near the store and no where to go during covid
) and my first QB (B25) was in November 2021 that was me being picky. In 2022, I got a C18 and K28. Both are on my wishlist. This year, I told my SA I don't know what I want so I just buy other things I like so far. However, I shop with a group of friends so my SA would see my face at least twice per month .

I don’t think it’s a hard fast rule. It depends on being in the right place right time. Just put down what you want.
