Hello! I was just there this weekend and according to my SA, the store is no longer by appointment so we can now walk-in or wait in line. I texted my SA to make sure that he was going to be there and let her/him know that I was planning to go shopping. The wait wasn’t long considering that it was a weekend. My SA was working with another client when I walked in but that didn’t bother me. It gave me some time to browse around. I hope helps. Have fun shopping!
Oh good to know! Thank you!

Slightly off topic, but the first “bag” I’ve seen on display here that seemed popular was a Picotin in felt this past weekend.
Back on topic, I’ve heard from Palo Alto that it’s super hard to get bags at SCP. Think she meant BKC though.

Although there aren't many bags on display, they do provide bags. I met this stunning woman who travels all the way from Jamaica to shop at SCP whenever she can. She claimed that a Picotin bag was immediately handed to her. I was excited for her. I observed how she and her SA interacted, and I can tell that they get along pretty well. As far as getting a BKC offer, is it super hard to get? Yes! I agree. However, it is possible.

Can someone provide me the online website to book appts at SCP? I haven’t booked an appointment through it for a while so I totally forgot the website. TIA
Website: https://appointment.hermes.com/

That being said, it doesn't seem like you can make appointments on the website, currently. If you have an SA you work with, you can just text them to make an appointment. Otherwise, a walk in will be just fine. As fayeH mentioned, it's not super busy lately, even on the weekends.

My wife and I were in there about 4 weeks ago. As said above, there were no handbags to speak of, just some men's totes. The SA in that area was a guy, and he was nice. We weren't asking about bags, so we didn't get any details. She was shoe shopping and the shoe SA was very nice and there were a decent amount of choices.

Hi! I'm hoping you all could help me with a few questions. I would like to change SA at SCP. I'm wondering if this is possible. And if so, is it as easy as just going into the boutique and start chatting with one? Or is there a formal process I don't know about?

In order to help answering your question, we might need some more info. How long have you shopped at SCP and with the current SA? Did you get any bag yet? Is there any particular reason you want to switch?

Last month, I was in a hurry for a trip and stopped by to make a quick purchase. I asked for my SA but he/she was off on that day, the manager told me he'll have another SA to help me out, and it's ok to shop with another SA. I only need to purchase some cosmetics so I know my SA wouldn't mind. What I'm trying to say is it's ok to switch SA, but depending on your situation, you might want to have the manager's blessing.

Thank you for your reply. I have been shopping at SCP for over a year with SA. No bags yet. No big reason for changing. Sometimes I just feel a lack of sincerity with SA.
There seems to be conflicting posts on whether clients are allowed to switch SA. I can't imagine a store forcing a client to stay with an SA they don't have a good relationship with. It seems illogical to me but I wasn't sure how it is in the H world in SCP.
Thank you for sharing your experience with me

Just stopped by this evening before dinner and there was no line/wait and has been that way several times I go in now. I was there about two weeks ago and purchased a pair of Oasis sandals with an SA I genuinely connected with. I inquired about a Garden Party and was told I would be contacted if something came in. I messaged my SA a week later to see if anything came in and no response, which is understandable (days off, backlog of messages etc.)

So I stopped by today to grab cosmetics for stocking stuffers but my SA was off… and I was introduced to another SA and we also connected..!! So I got my stocking stuffers and mentioned I had asked the other SA (even mentioned by name) about a Garden Party, and if there was any stock. There was a 30 and a 36…! So I got to choose and ended up with an Etoupe Negonda 36 GP!

Problem now… how/who do I go about next purchases? I genuinely enjoyed connecting with both SAs. Yikes!!

I mean two wonderful SAs, what a problem to have…

I have similar issue with my SA. I’ve been with her awhile since my SA left. ive purchased steady with her and ive gotten bags from her. Non quota. However she hardly replies to my emails and it’s gotten very frustrating. i want to switch also but afraid to….

Ugh! This happened to me. I texted my SA she didn’t respond - which means she was off (which she was). I went into the store and met with a new SA that I loved! He was a lot more open and talkative about the H process which I completely appreciate. My normal SA talks about family stuff lol but she’s very responsive. I really don’t know what to do as I really prefer a straight shooter like the new SA instead of the usual “we have no bags” (which I know exactly what that means now) from my normal SA. FYI I’m not in cali.

What did you decide to do?

Hi everyone!

I am currently in the position of seeing if my partner and I really want to begin playing the Hermes game and actually commit to the SA we worked with at SCP. We have purchased a few things from her, such as twillies and scarves, but nothing big. The sad thing is that we purchased far more from the online store (probably about 1:1 worth) than through my SA, which I know is not good and puts us at a huge disadvantage. My SA is nice and had a decent feeling we clicked the first time (and other times) we met, but as time went on, she hasn't been too responsive (similar to the previous posts here), especially when I tried to place an order for stuff sold online thinking it would help the relationship. We have looked at a Kelly Depeche pouch in togo etoupe at the store with our SA, but decided to think about it and not get it. So I am not sure if that might have discouraged her to not take us seriously or not? Maybe I might be thinking too deep into all of this though.

So, I just wanted to come here and share our experiences so far and see what everyone else thinks we should do. Should we commit to this SA and actually start playing the game to get a B/K? I am planning to text her sometime this week (probably tomorrow) to make an appointment and see her (if she's available) the first time since entering 2023. My partner and I have not shared our wishlists or our real intentions to our SA yet since we weren't sure if we wanted to stay with this SA or not, and play the spending game.

What do y'all think? Any suggestions or advice would be helpful!

My opinion only. Stop thinking of it as a game, but rather the SA’s livelihood. They are bombarded with requests for QBs constantly, and they have to get SM approval in order to make an offer. It is not entirely up to them; and, with stock being scarce, and demand being unusually high, a lengthy wait and considerable spend is not uncommon. Buy only things you love, and bags will eventually come. If you don’t truly love the other items H has to offer, I strongly suggest a reseller

by the way, my DH picked up the kelly depeche and it’s a favorite

ETA: for those who would like to switch SAs bc of lack of response to texts or emails: SAs are told to prioritize clients in the store. They are not given additional time to respond to the many texts they get. So, it may be possible that you switch and find yourself in the same predicament. There are also many clients who may be ahead of you who have not yet received their bags.

Forgot to add, While there are members who apparently obtain bags without much prespend, that is not the norm. I would say, SCP is similar to NY where ratios of 5X, excluding leather, in categories like RTW, Home, or fine jewelry, is relatively common. prespend is a moving, fluid target depending on the other clients vying for bags in similar specs. 1:1 in your current categories may not get you where you want to go. JMO though, and YMMV

Thank you so much! I understand what you mean. Personally I really do love that brand and both my partner and I have items in mind that we would actually use/wear like jewelry or shoes especially. However, I do sadly admit that I’m more practical on what to get from H. It’s a matter of will I use it or just collect dust on my shelve or closet? Etc etc.

Thank you again for a great insight!
