I've gone to SCP on 3 different occasions, each time purchasing >$500 and each time with a different SA. However, no one has given me their business card or offered me to contact them for my next purchase after I pay. I just get told thanks and goodbye.

I haven't asked myself since I'm a bit shy, but do you think I need to explicitly ask/tell the SA that I am trying to build a relationship with them? Or should I just wait until someone offers to become 'my' SA? Thanks!

Hello all,
Not looking to get a B or K as I don’t like impractical bags (open and close) :)
I’m looking for either a mini Evelyne or Picotin 18, any chance of getting either one at SCP with no pre-spend?
Thank you!

If you connect with a SA during your appointment, ask him/her for the business card. I know for my SA, he/she does not accept new client since the beginning of this year.

The landscape may be different now, but when my wife and I first went to Hermes we were very upfront with our intentions. We told our SA that we were interested in a B/K and asked about the general spend requirement to be considered for a bag. Our SA was polite helped explain the process. During that first meeting we made some purchases and also indicated the specific bag that we were interested in. I believe our SA also recorded our information in our profile.

My guess is the 2nd and 3rd saw your purchase history and the fact that you've been purchasing from different SAs and made the assumption that you weren't interested. My suggestion is that the next time you're there find an SA you feel like you get along with and be a little forward with your goals.

I recently visited Hermes SCP, my first time at Hermes, and spent maybe $3k on shoes and home. We didn't discuss my wishlist or anything, I could tell she was busy and I kept it light. The SA gave me her phone number and I texted to say thank you and got no response - no worries. I sent another text a week later to make an appointment, but no response then, either. Is it too much to text again and ask for an appointment, or am I too small of a fish and I should wait in line again to try again with another SA?

Hermes SA are busy because they have so many clients, so sometime they do see your text but don't get a chance to answer. I would text her everyday politely asking for appointment until you get an answer.

I make appointments with my SA through the appointment portal. He's super busy and it's honestly the easiest way. You can place your SAs name in the box to ensure you're set up with her. They'll give you an estimated time for the appointment through the portal and will confirm the details later on in an email.

Thank you! Looks like she is all booked up through early November. I guess I will just have to drop by?

In the meantime I'm considering going secondhand for bags. Maybe eventually it will calm down!

Has anyone been having a hard time getting in touch with their SA? Been about two weeks since I’ve reached out to mine and even sent follow up texts. Checked the appointment portal online but nothing has been available since mid-September. I dropped in to browse a couple of weeks ago as well and only two SAs were working along with the store manager… on a Friday night!

I believe the last time I was there our SA told us that they were no longer allowed to bring their phones home with them after work hours. I imagine they're pretty busy and get numerous requests, so if you message them after business hours or on a day where they're off your message might get pushed to the bottom by the time they're able to check their phone. They will also prioritize the in-store clients that they are attending to over responding over the phone. Personally I time my messages with those factors taken into consideration, but even then it's a bit hit or miss.

agreed. it's a hit or a miss with texting. i think i went 1 month without hearing from my SA.

hubs and i popped in this past friday (10/1) and THERE WAS NO WAIT. *shocked* doors were completely open to walk in freely. ran into my SA and she mentioned it was slow enough today where they opened the doors. this was around 5:30pm. by the time we left around 6:45pm, there were more customers inside. only thing that bugged me was other people were asking my SA for help, when she clearly said, "let me go get your size in the back" (was trying on the extra sandals) :annoyed:
