So I was incredibly excited to get the invite to the Hermes private sale in NYC...carried the invite in my bag for weeks, even added it to the family calendar as "H party"...
Day of reckoning came and lo and behold, terrible rains and flooded roads...DH even turned back from going to work with all the traffic
I was ready to go, I was not, just one of those days of indecisiveness and back and forth....sadness and frustration ensued
In the meantime, I get an early morning text message from my friend who was already online at the sale, urging me to get my booty down asap for a little tag team, but I proved to be a disappointment
My friend, the esteemed Hermesmonkey herself, proved to be the best proxy shopper in the whole wide world, even better than I could have been!
Would you like to see what she found but mercifully passed on to me when she saw my ear to ear grin at this beautiful sight....?
