NOoooo..it wasn't leather. Yes, it was on the delicate cycle and aired dried in the dryed. Who knew??? This thread turned out to be so funny it was almost worth turning the bag into a schmatta. I'm giving to my Gothish daughter Ari. ...end of story.
PS, the bag really wasn't ugly.
