Great thread! I was a student when we got engaged and anything over a carat would have been really out of budget. I saw some gorgeous big rings over the years worn by supervisors and now by other parents at our school, but I wouldn't trade mine for anything. It represents all the love in his heart when he proposed.

My rings are between a 6 and 6.75. E-ring is about half a carat from a small jeweler in Boston. Wedding band is yellow gold from Tiffany. The third ring I stacked above these is from Bulgari. It was for my birthday the year that we had our child.

ETA: Added photos. At the time, solitaire and three-stone e-rings were the dominant style in the city where I lived, and I've always preferred yellow gold to platinum, but the prongs on the e-ring are platinum, which is hardier for the setting.

Gorgous set and what a sweet warm story :heart: can you pretty please tell us more about the birthday ring? Is it a chanel setting? Its so beautiful :flowers: wear them in the best of health :heart:
