It was custom made by Mauboussin, which took like almost 2 months! (well, not entirely custom made, but we asked Mauboussin to mount our diamond to their tu es le sel de ma vie setting.)

Have spent an awful lot of time on these forums over the past few days so thought I would post a picture of my engagement ring. I'm from the UK and delighted with my ring however as I have started browsing these forums I started to feel inferior for a while thinking my ring was tiny! I realise now though it's more of a cultural thing and I'm back to adoring my ring.

It's 0.56ct colour F and set in platinum.

Very pretty! What type of setting is it, is it twisted 4 prong Tiffany style (sorry not sure if there's a proper name for it)?

I always like smaller diamonds. I think they are elegant!! Quality over quantity!! and yours is very pretty!!!

I've always thought I wanted a halo when I've been seeing gorgeous halos here, but it's not really for me when I tried one on :(

Thanks, this is a reset. I was given a small budget to upgrade and had a choice between a .80ct in a solitaire or keeping my original stone with a new halo. The halo fits me perfectly and I don't plan on changing it until I can get a 1.5ct+ stone:graucho:
