Had this for a while but never used it. Concerned the zipper teeth might rub against my clothes.

Would appreciate any and all info from a knowledgeable

Got it at an auction in Paris years ago so know it is authentic.

I think it may a 'Silk In' or Silk city' bag but not sure :confused1:
Can anyone give their expert opinion?
I know I've seen this before but the name escapes me.

Thank you!
maxroxxherhandbags, it will shake out and a lovely PF member with a deep memory will have further details.
Cheers!

My local Hermes store were were not particularly helpful but did acknowledge it was genuine.

It’s a Silky Pop. I purchased an identical one at the NYC sale way back in 2009-2010. I also got one with the Beloved India pattern.

Thank you so much Hermes Nuttynut!
Sounds absolutely lovely!
So loved the Indian designs. Flew briefly through Paris when they came out but the stores were closed and could only admire the very special Indian theme window displays.

Do you carry your silky pop as a going out bag or an emergency extra bag?

I keep it in my regular purse for an extra bag if I need one. The silk feels like it has a kind of protective treatment, but I haven’t yet been brave enough to put groceries in.

Discontinued Plum 32 Vibrato. I got it a year ago at a super good price. The bag is very light and in a surprisingly good shape. I think the leather part is Chamonix in rough H color. Interior is in Chevre. Very happy to have this bag in my collection.
