Thanks Frenzied. Yes, indeed a bummer, but that’s the risk of buying second hand…I’ve already wiped it down with leather cleaner and the worn spots are clearly not dirt, but abrasion and colour loss.

Also, the two front card slots are the first place I checked, both in direct sunlight and with a torch. Nothing there :( I did find 6 blind stamped letters in the rear pocket, but it appears to be some sort of date code rather than the country of manufacture.

Unfortunately, the condition isn't quite as described by the seller (definitely not 'like new and unused'), but still in very good shape. I don't think that I'm going to find another one, and a bit of dye will take care of the scuffed corners, so it's a keeper.

Quick question for those of you who one one of these: where is the 'made in' stamp? I've checked everywhere and can't seem to find it.

So, the last of my order arrived today. The problem is that I cancelled the order because there was no update to the tracking since 3/24. Got refunded from Norstrom Rack and AfterPay on 4/1, and then my packages arrived yesterday morning and this afternoon. So now I have to call Nordstrom Rack (I have to check to see if I can do this through chat) so I can get re-charged for the order and they also need to give me my points back too because I used a Double Point day for this order. I really wish Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack would stop using CDL. They are horrible with updating their tracking and I only know when my packages are getting delivered after they've been delivered, that's if they even get shipped at all.

I am happy the order arrived though. I've been waiting a Le Pliage Cuir bag in Navy for the looooongest. I think Longchamp's shade of navy is so gorgeous. I'm also glad I got the backpack during their Flash Sale. I like the expandable tote, but I thought it was going to be bigger, but I'm going to use it as a travel bag, so it's good for its purpose. The only item that I'm iffy on is the toiletry case. For what it is, $75 is a lot of money. $10 more and you can get a small short handle tote. So that may be the one piece I'm thinking of returning.

I bought this one exclusively for travel. It would be a waste for me to use it as a work bag because I have so many others.

I have another haul coming. I really wasn't planning on buying anything. :blush: I went to do the refund in the app and that's when I saw the restock of some colors I was interested in. Hopefully this will be the last haul because I'm running out of room.

Thanks to both of you. Hope Frenzied's SA can enlighten us. Maybe this model just doesn't have a 'made in' stamp. It's not possible that all four of us are blind :lol:

Both of your navy Cuirs are beautiful and a lucky find now that they're discontinued. I regret not having discovered how perfect the Cuir backpack is until now that they're no longer in production. Enjoy :)

I also hate CDL They just throw the packages outside It takes them forever to actually pick up the item from Nordstrom. UPS or even USPS is so much better

No harm in looking at all! But you better look fast because some colors have already sold out. Nesting the bags actually isn't a bad idea, but my shelves aren't tall enough to support the bags at their full size.

Agreed. I don't even know if the estimated date I'm looking at is the pickup date for them to get the package from Nordstrom or the actual shipping date. I guess I'll find out come Thursday.
