Ive been contemplating between this vs the gourmette version in WG as my next FJ piece. 😂 The gourmette is more substantial but the chaine version is more budget friendly for H standards. It’s almost tge same price as my pave farandole earrings

Not fan of tge H bangles as everyone wears them lol

They’ve been around for a few seasons. It’s lovely. I’m debating about this one too. But I think the paper clip look may not be as nice as the grommette one in the long run.

I debated between the two too until I tried them on.

To me:

The contour ring is very comfortable to wear, sparkly and could probably could be a 24 hour ring that you don’t have to take off, due it its shape that contours to the finger.

The echappe ring is more distinctive in design, which ultimately is what I chose. I’ve worn it tons and so far it hasn’t caught on anything. Like @steph2005 mentions, it runs 1 size bigger.

Also, thank you so much for the mod shots for both! They are indeed beautiful! It sounds like you enjoy the Echapee ring very much. I was also afraid that the ring could catch on something, but its good to hear you have never experienced that.

My SA will transfer both rings for me, so I can try and compare them as you did!

The Contour ring costs a bit more than the Echapee. I went to my boutique today and I tried the Echapee ring first (not my size). I really liked it. Then my SA let me try the Chaine d'Ancre Contour double ring! Ohhh, it was so sparkly (of course, all diamonds look so sparkly under the lights at the store, haha) and that was the moment I was leaning towards the Contour ring. Luckily, my SA will have both rings in my size transferred so that I can compare them! I may be your Coutour ring twin! Let's see!!!

Kelly gourmette but then again im biased.

Also the diamonds on the gourmette look bigger. Hopefully more carat wt.


Also have eyes on the exact specs. What sz did u try on and what size in cartier do you usually wear?

Thank you! I tried XS Kelly gourmette and it’s so small. It’s almost can’t close the lock so my SA requested SH. The Kelly Bracelet is in SH and it’s okay. I am going to try Kelly gourmette in SH today. Just want to have some final thoughts. I don’t remember my Cartier size…

I have same question. I want to know if they do any clean service. I just asked my SA if they can do re-size as my finesse bracelet is too big now and my SA said no re-size service
