has anyone purchased a Kelly/cdc bracelet in the XL size? The L was a little snug for how I want to wear it and my SA said he could order it in XL but I'm not 100% sure if I want it yet and don't want him to have to go through the hassle if I end up not wanting it

I have a silver Chaine d'encre bracelet, and it has gotten undone a few too many times. I cannot say if the silver and gold bracelets are the same size of have the same exact closure.
The SM in my store said she has not heard that the bracelet falls off, but I can attest that I have had it fall off numerous times , the only reason I mind less, is the cost of silver vs gold.
I have since then attached a very tiny clear plastic elastic around the clasp to secure it when I do wear it. This is something I read about on TPF but not sure where I saw this tip.
you are not alone! Mine came undone and fell off twice. I felt lucky that I was able to trace my steps and latte it each time. So I stop wearing it completely bc I just can‘t take the “excitement“ over lost and found
interesting tip about the clear plastic elastic. i should try that (is it just a generic plastic elastic band?). I also read on this forum someone had one link taken out By the H store.

this would be an example, they are mini silicone hair ties . they are small clear and stretchy. I bought them from the pharmacy next to all hair accessories. I have found them online as well . Basically just clear small elastic bands....Obviously close up, one can see them but its not obvious from afar. In winter with my coat and thicker jumper I tend to lose the bracelet often,so these elastics have helped a great deal

@Sferics kindly shared that tip here to ensure that the toggle doesn't come undone. :)

Hi everyone!
I’m on the fence about a few pieces of Hermès jewelry and would love to hear some opinions!! Which one should I get?? Will the rose gold color fade to yellow? Is the Chaine d'Ancre Enchainee bracelet clasp secure?
please help me decide!
I have or I should say I had the chaine d’ancre in gold. It fell off a couple of times and this last time I wasn’t lucky enough to find it.

It's funny you say that - I have purchased pairs of rose gold earrings from H that I love and use nearly daily. So I was looking at rose gold necklaces recently but the latch on many of them (a circle that a piece of metal goes through) did not strike me as a secure locking mechanism.

I'm really sorry for about your loss though; my OCD drives me crazy when I lose things, especially jewelry. Having one earring goes missing while out and about will bother me for days. :)

I am so sorry to hear that!! I know how depressing it it to lose a piece. Thank you for sharing your experience as well since now I really don’t think I should get the chaine d’ancre because I wear my jewelry all the time. :(

On a different note, I have switched my internet to the CDC bracelet in Rose Gold. Any advice for this one? Should I go for it?
