Tried on the collier de chien, but I have my eyes set on the half paved one which I am waiting for. Stacked with CartierJust Un Cloute and VCA Perlee. I was really impressed by their fine jewelry. It's so gorgeous.

Has anyone tried to "special order" a piece of jewelry from H?
There is a ring which I really love but it is only available in rose gold. I would like to purchase it in yellow gold. I know that Cartier is open to special orders as long as the customer is willing to pay extra, but I am not aware of H's policy on this. Can anyone help?

I think it depends on the ring. I have the full-paved diamond Kelly ring and it fits well now but when I asked my SA in passing if it’s possible to resize in future, she said not for that ring.

Though it can not be re-sized, would they be willing to do a special order to produce a fresh ring in the size you need? I did do a special order for a bracelet when the smallest size produced was still too large for me.

They do! I have to check! I got small I think for perlee. (According to my SA, she said small) they stack well! JUC, I got the smallest size available.

I found the Hermes jewelry SAs attitude was highly inflexible when it came to anything “custom”. I looked at one of the 5 bag charm bracelets and asked if I could substitute a Birkin charm for the trim charm on the bracelet. They had the Birkin charm by itself on a separate necklace. I was willing to buy both the necklace and the charm bracelet but wanted Hermes to take the Birkin charm off the necklace and switch it for the trim charm on the bracelet. I was told in a not very pleasant tone of voice that those items came that way so if I wanted to swap the charms I should go find a jeweler and have it done myself. These items were not cheap to begin with so one would think that a simple request to swap one charm would not have been too much to ask. I would have been willing to pay a little extra for the work but that wasn’t even an option.
