Re: Tassels,
Coach's tassel keyrings are 3 inches long (that's the leather only, I'm not including the keyring), and about 1-1/8 inches in diameter (that's when the tassel is held tightly together, before it even starts to "puff"). They're nice and chunky. I love em. I've had a single gold leather one hanging on a small, red-heritage-stripe siggy bag for some time, and recently went back for two yellow with PCE.

I hooked the two yellow together so that they hang at tiered heights; removed the dogleash clips and replaced with a trigger clasp (standard trigger clasp, same size/shape as is on the ends of so many straps); and now it works great on multiple bags. I've started using it on red Quincy, black Quincy, black Station, brown Station, and brown Zoe. It was 57 after PCE, but works great on all of those bags. :) Next PCE I might make another set, but not sure any other colors would be as versatile as this yellow seems to be. Maybe if light blue comes out like people are saying, I'll make a set for occasional use on my blue/white spectator Court and navy Small flap. Honestly, the tassel leather looks just rich enough that it works with the vintage leathers quite well.

cool...I've looked quite a bit on various sites and hadn't found anything that called my name. Lots of the ones I found online weren't real leather.

I have this scrap of just about British Tan leather that would work to make one or two if I thought I could cut it straight enough, but I'm not good at things like that.
I really love my tassel. It was a perfect color match. I was worried it would be too shiny. But, it isn't. I was thinking about getting the olive for my brown or tan bags.

I'd love to see some of your tassels and combo match ups modeled on some of the purses you've mentioned. I'm not as much of a risk taker and seeing stuff put together helps me decide before buying things!!

Sure. :)
Far from the best pics I've ever taken, and I was moving fast. If some appear to be hanging limply, it's because they were all empty at the time ... I didn't take the time for that type of staging or getting the light angled well or anything. But anyway ... red Quincy, brown Station, black Quincy, black station, medium chocolate Zoe.

You're right, the yellow looks great with all colors! What a great tip!

There a bunch on etsy for various prices. Almost all are genuine leather. None quite a pretty as the Coach ones though.

Just authenticated by Hyacinth...here's my Find of the Day:

A Soho Buckle Tote that I found at a thrift shop who's proceeds benefit our local hospital. It was marked at $28, but today was 50% off handbags and shoes, so walked away paying $14 for this beauty. In great shape! Some surface dirt, but not a mark to be found on the interior. It was made in Costa Rica in 1998 - love me some Costa Rica bags!

What an AWESOME idea!
I need one for my new-to-me Helen's Legacy. It seems like it was dyed, or it has a super dark patina... Looks like a super deep dark mahogany brown, almost black... I was thinking about a blue tassel fob... Hmmm

Cute idea! I am thinking about doing something with the "Create your own duffle" kit, like the one in the pic below. They are $98 but would be $74.50 with PCE. They include a double-tassel, a hangtag, and a strap that might fit some of my older bags.
