Hi all! It's been just about forever since I've posted in this thread, but I wanted to share my newest secondhand bargain. Found this pretty for $72, which seems like a pretty good deal based on sold prices I've seen for used Rogues.
Wow! What a great deal, especially since it has tea roses and exotic skin on the handles.

My favorite corningware is Centura, only made for a short time. It's not as translucent as Corelle, feels less like glass, and is more substantial, like the ovenware. After that, all the dishes were corelle. I only have a few pieces left.

When my kids were little, I didn't worry about having matching dishes. (Actually I still don't.) Every time we saw a plate we liked, I bought it. The kids had fun picking out which dish they wanted to use. I never had to worry about losing part of a set.
I have (and still use) a casserole in that pattern. Also have the smaller cornflower one.

ETA: Sorry! I just realized how late I am to the Corningware discussion!

I have both of those in my kitchen cabinets.
Me three. I have both patterns in the smaller casserole size. They are great for microwaving a single portions, all in one dish.
ETA, late, schmate, who’s keeping a clock?

Exactly Lake! It's always time to talk about Pyrex and Corning! And we may have to start a new Cookware thread, because I love cast iron and Revere Ware too!

This morning I was thinking that there must be vintage collectible thread somewhere on the blog. I’ll take a look. If i find one I’ll post it.
I started one in the Kitchen section . . .

Anyone collect and/or use vintage Pyrex or Corningware? A few of us got to talking about it on Second Hand Coach bargain thread! I had to cut myself off at a set of the Primary color mixing bowls and a partial mismatch set  or else I would 20 more bowls in at least 15 different patterns.

I have three Corningware casseroles I got from thrift stores anywhere from $2-$6 each with lids. These things are the best!

Also got an awesome vintage cast iron pan (super smooth!) and I went through the process of chemically removing the seasoning so I could do my own from scratch (so much work...) and then realized it wasn't compatible with the glass stovetop on my oven...whoops!!! One day I'll reseason it and use it inside the oven instead.

I wish I could find the Coach deals you all do in thrift stores! I've been thrifting for years and only seen 1 vintage bag in all that time; some sort of Sheridan bag. I saw a woman eyeing what I thought was a vintage AWL Dooney and Bourke bag behind the counter at Salvation Army and I said "nice" to her and she checked it out quickly and told me it was "totally fake".

I would love to find some of the Bonnie Cashin bags (especially the pink!) because they are so expensive on sites like eBay or Etsy. Maybe one day...
