Wowza, Pegasus really pops in this cw and dimensionally. Peg d Hermes has always has this characteristic (I have 3 x 90s ad a 140 en bloc). If you wanted to wear it, and perhaps it's more suitable for an evening piece anyway, you could wear it as a bolero, a shawl or very simply just draped around your shoulders.

This is such a great idea! I always mean to wear my scarves as boleros and I love the idea of showing off the detail of an exceptional this way.

I had not thought of bolero. Thanks! I’ll try that next

Beautiful! :flowers: If you call H.com, and give them the item number from your invoice, they should be able to tell you the color description for this scarf.

Good idea! But I bought it from a franchise store and they don‘t state article numbers as their receipts are handwritten (yes, it‘s true [emoji2])
But I will call H.command maybe they can help me as I know the article number of the other color of this model.

Thank you for your help!

May I ask for some advice? I just received my first exceptional scarf. It wasn't on my radar but showed up at a great price from a reseller, and I thought I'd take a chance. I can't figure out if I love it or not though! Perhaps that means it's not meant to be? Might it grow on me? Would appreciate any thoughts/advice! It's really so lovely, but most of the time I'm immediately smitten, and this time I'm just a little unsure. Thanks all!! :flowers:IMG_20190409_202258.jpg IMG_20190409_202457.jpg IMG_20190409_202717.jpg IMG_20190410_202741~01.jpg IMG_20190410_203028~01.jpg

Ah, I see, no detailed info at all on receipt! Hopefully H.com can help. Typically they can see the other colorways, if they're given one of the colorway numbers. Good luck! :flowers:

I think it's gorgeous! :flowers: Lovely, understated, elegant colorway, with subtle ornamentation. Plus one of my favorite patterns (appears to be Clic Clac). I always go with my initial reaction. If I gasp a bit upon first seeing, I know it's a keeper! But of course you need to love it. What are your reservations?

It’s very pretty. Is it the muted tone of the dip dye that makes you hesitate? I went through the same dilemma! However, it can actually be a good thing because you can use it as an everyday scarf.

It's stunning on you.

Thank you all so much! I've thought about why, and I do think it may have to do with the muted colors. I really love dip-dyes, and I love these colors too. But most of my wardrobe is also somewhat muted and I think I usually look to my scarves for a pop of color. I think the scarf maybe lacks contrast, and might look lovely against a sort of deep brown/burgundy or charcoal.

I like the idea of this as sort of "exceptional-lite", in its understated qualities. Your kind and helpful words have definitely helped, and I think I'm going to give it some more time and see if it really sticks! Thank you again, everyone!! :flowers:
