Serva, the Jardin de Leila exceptional is so beautiful, but, under the circumstances, I can understand why you hesitated. I'd have felt the same. But I do hope one finds its way to you at some point! Sending a little wish out for you right now... [emoji2]

Thank you edm, you are always so sweet [emoji173]️ Sammy Royal was recently reunited with her gorgeous exceptional pink Tigre Royal so there is always hope [emoji3]

This is a very good point!
I do fancy getting a Halzan at some point, but this is nothing "urgent", expensive jewellery is not something very important to me (I have some very nice pieces, especially Wellendorff rings, do not crave more), I really turned into a scarfie during the last year. It would be the crown of my collection....
I might really regret not getting it...

The exceptionals are so unique, when you find the perfect one and have the priorities in order then it’s a good decision [emoji3]

Hello !! Yes I have this scarf and as others have mentioned above, my personal remorse experience after missing out on the Mythic Phoenix Exceptional large scarf when I was offered it and passed- with the JaguarQ I didn’t hesitate and just made a deal with myself to limit additional scarf purchases and I have kept to that deal- only after over a year did I add a few small format silks - just yesterday [emoji39]
Ok— so YES!! the box is huge and has a special removable layer lined with styrofoam that keeps the scarf from folding on itself and therefore the beads don’t make impressions on the folded part of the scarf -
I wear mine with simple silk sheath dresses and maxi tank dresses
But also as an evening layer with solid colored evening suits
You should this of this scarf as SILK JEWELRY and let it be the magic of your outfit (it’s just that spectacular)
I haven’t had any problem with beads coming off.
However if I had any issues, I would sent it to Hermes Paris rather than risk any other repairs with anyone/ anywhere else.
Here are some photos of the box:
Thank you so much for your helpful answer.
I am still undecided, I am also waiting for the Sieste silk GM to become available, I think I do not have the discipline to let that pass. It is just so much money for a scarf (that will not getting worn much)...
Did you already have to iron it? How did you manage?

And I would love to see photos of it worn.

Traveling but I’ll try to take photos soon for you
I press might lightly on the reverse
So far no problems
And yes- it’s hard to turn down future silk options .. so you have to be sure on the Exceptionals at these prices [emoji29]

Hi, @HoneyLocks. I have an exceptionelle and must confess that despite its swoonworthy beauty, it doesn't get much usage due to the following reasons:
1. White: fearful of soiling it
2. Large: 140 is actually too much silk for me and too warm for tropical weather
3. Heavy: not sure if it's only the beads but even the silk feels thicker (and thicker feels goooood...)
4. Lifestyle: not many occasions that require an ornate shawl
But no regrets at the moment because it is very beautiful and I bought it knowing reasons 1 to 4. If I ever start to regret it, I'll rehome it and it will be a very pleasant memory.

Hello xincinsin, I'd love to see which one you have! These scarves truly are exceptional. Like you, I wouldn't have lots of opportunities to wear, but also would have no regrets if one had truly stolen my heart! They're pieces of art to own for a lifetime, even if one just mostly admires the exquisite design and craftsmanship!

It's a Mythiques Phoenix, etoile de mer. I would be loathe to rehome it. In the lingo of decluttering, it does give me more than a spark of joy, but it's an epic fail if I tried to justify it in terms of number of times it is worn. Will do some pics for you.

 I didn't know they did 90cm exceptionelles! Very sleek and elegant!

I'm all about what sparks joy and not so much about cost per wear! I look forward to seeing your beautiful scarf! :flowers:
