Hurrah!! They found one for you?? Super exciting!
Yes- let me know what you think?
I'm still waiting for my RTW -- sigh
Picked up something else from H that will be good -
But still..hoping for the quadridge top
And skirt ---
TT went to my store and had a look and a try on of the Quadridge and It is much more beautifull IRL than any pictures can show, am trying to think of the best ways to wear it to show the colours.

Its still on hold for me while I think about it till sat but I feel I will probably get it then.

So excited about this one. I'm still waiting for it's arrival, hopefully it's as beautiful as described when I receive it. A 1958 La Voliere des Dames jacquard scarf.

TT the Quadridge top is beautiful, so excited for you. I didn't buy it, not sure if I can justify myself having both :) the scarf and the top :).

How exciting
Agree photographs don't do it justice
The detail and the feel of the raw silk
Is so...well.. So Exceptional!'

The Quadridge exceptional does feel like a bargain, comparatively. Maybe your SA can do a search for a Quadridge for you and then you won't have to do such a huge purge? The exceptionals are all gorgeous. I would love one of the Mythique Phoenix GM from this season's exceptionals. My boutique had one, I saw it, touched it and then went home to think about it. By time I thought I might haveto have it, it was gone. Less than one day at the boutique.
Another day my Quadridge had just come in while I was in the Boutique for something else and had not even hit the floor. So when they offered it to me I jumped

I will wear it, but even it I never did I am just happy to HAVE it.

I just saw the quadridge today - it and a number of exceptional scarves are in the back at Madison. Ask for Linda.

I love all the exceptional pictures posted by everyone. I actually had some of my scarves made into floor pillows because they have been sitting there. And some designs need to be shown laid out to radiate their full glory.

TT have you worn yours yet?

Do you feel there are many ways to wear this one as when I tried it on in the store felt it could only be tied in a few ways to show the colours to their best. But still think it must have to come home with me on sat as it is so beautifull.

What a great idea for a thread! It also reminded me that I have two scarves in the large special display boxes they came in. They're a bit creased but that's easily remedied.

This is my favorite, the insert says, Chiffon H Scarf. There are black crystals sewn around the edges and in between the black and blue colors on both sides. If anyone knows the correct name of this scarf please let me know!

I just got this in black and navy.

Easy to dress up or down !

And another. The little card says, Precious Dip Dye Carre. I'd love to know the name if anyone knows anything about it! Both of these are 90's.
These are beautiful! Thanks for the eye candies!
Are exceptional scarves in general hard to care for (i.e. crystals falling off, costly dry cleaning)?

I haven't used them often enough to have anything be a problem. And I keep them in the large display box they came in, it's different than your normal scarf box. Likely I would hand wash them before entrusting them to any outside anybody. :D
