Hello to my exceptional friends! I would love to share my poncho. It is a bolduc pattern in a changeant mousselline. "A poncho," you say. That's what i thought. But it is exactly what it it. Two embroidered 140s, one with a v-neck opening. The colors morph fro bottle green to maroon. It is quite subtle, but the wooden presentation box is something to behold. I love to refold the scarf exactly the way she should be. But, the whole process of re-folding shawls and odd-shaped pieces no longer bring me the joy it used to. My back pain is just to severe nowadays. Mlle Exceptional is carefully folded over tissue on a hanger in a garment bag. The only photos I have are ghastly modeling shots and i may not be able to post with this posting. If not, I get some photos post haste.
Thanks for letting me go on and on.

Thanks for enlightening me with this exceptional piece!
I am sorry to hear of your back pain. It can be torturous 😥 When I had trouble with my back for over a year, it finally got better after I slept on a heated mattress top every night. If you run out of options, you may consider this, since it doesn't take much effort to try 😋

How could I miss this?? A thing of beauty !!!

My little contribution to this thread. I am afraid to wear it, as it seems so fragile.

It just sits in my drawer and is taken out from time to time that I can look at it :-)

Maybe I should frame it?

Definitely one to be worn, even if it's only for special occasions. It's spectacular!

BBL, I'm a sucker for changeant mousselines. Your poncho is beautiful! Good to see you around!

Oh, Beeble, it's gorgeous! I am so sorry you are living with such pain. My thoughts are with you, and thank you so much for sharing this beautiful garment. And hugs to the poodles!

Gorgeous! But I can't quite understand what the MP is- embroidered? Has anyone seen it in person?

Yes, but I dont understand the question?

VesperSparrow I don't really understand your question either, but my understanding is the Phoenix one is embroidered and the Carriage one is quilted (patches of previous designs are all sewn together). I'm not sure if that one has any embroidery...

Didn't mean to be confusing! I meant "what", meaning by what technique is the design created - embroidery or beading or (I thought maybe) hand painting, clearly not just printing. These exceptional pieces are made using an incredible range of techniques. I haven't read any description if it (though I had read that the Carriage was quilted) and couldn't see detail in the photo, at least on my phone. So my confusing question is answered but would love to see details that show the workmanship. Thanks to all.

Just wondering if anyone has Carre de Notes? I'm thinking of buying it as it's beautiful IRL but when I look at it online it looks different. If you do have one can you please share if u're happy with it. I can't try it in the store as it's only avail online and the one I saw IRL at FSH was on display. Thanks in advance.
