do you mind if i ask you the specs of that ring? its tdf!

GORGEOUS sapphire!!! you made the right choice with a YG setting for this yellow stone. are you planning to wear it with your wedding band? I hope so...it looks fantastic!!!

congratulations, & happy birthday!

frick&frack, I am glad you also think that I made the right choice! I know white look is more popular and the SA encourages me to go with a bezel in 18KWG. But I thouhgt I could choose the gold look only with the yellow stone, not with pink/blue sapphires!

I always appreciate your advice! I'll wear it with my wedding bands!

it's absolutely breathtaking to see them all together!!! would you do me a favor if it's not too inconvenient? please add your e-ring to that mix. my mom wears her e-ring with an anniversary stone "jacket," a channel-set wedding band, & my great grandmother's yellow diamond. mom's rings are set in YG, & great grandmother's is in platinum. I think it looks amazing all together. you might not like to wear all 4 rings together, but I'd love to just see it! :flowers:

Jeneen, do you think so??? To tell you the truth, I am still wondering which is better...(TOO LATE!!! :D) Thank you for your kind words!

definitely... plus it looks great mixed with your other bands, especially b/c all the metal is slim and streamlined, nothing yells GOLD, or WHITE, it is all classy and elegant, yet also a statement at the same time.

I saw this thread and had to post a picture of my Ceylon Sapphire right-hand ring:D It almost looks like a tanzanite or amethyst because its nearly purple. Its white gold and needs a rhodium plating very soon

Love your RHR! Very beautiful and sophisticated!!! If I get a blue sapphire in the future (hopefully for next birthday), I will go with a bezel set in WG OR a diamond halo.:D

frick&frack,
WOW your family has a yellow diamond heritage. ENVIOUS! Of course, I'll do it!!! It's easy, but I have a big doubt if it looks amaging on my hand too.

And DONE! Actually a sapphire ring and e-ring are not really stackable. It may look a little better when a sapphire ring is sandwtiched between diamonds. Anyway I cannot go out like this...:banned:
