the beautiful bezel setting really makes the sapphire color pop! very pretty!
I saw this thread and had to post a picture of my Ceylon Sapphire right-hand ringIt almost looks like a tanzanite or amethyst because its nearly purple. Its white gold and needs a rhodium plating very soon

WOW your family has a yellow diamond heritage. ENVIOUS!Of course, I'll do it!!! It's easy, but I have a big doubt if it looks amaging on my hand too.

And DONE! Actually a sapphire ring and e-ring are not really stackable. It may look a little better when a sapphire ring is sandwtiched between diamonds. Anyway I cannot go out like this...:banned:
I haven't quite figured out how to take clear pictures of my rings but, I love my sapphires! I had the liberty of living in Sri Lanka for a year and had a very generous jeweler! I am awaiting delivery of a padparadscha sapphire and can't wait to see it. If anyone needs a contact let me know 1. Cushion Cut Hot pink sapphire w/diamonds, 2. Yes, I went a bit crazy but when in Ceylon....must buy gemstones! 
1. White Sapphire Bridal Set (a lot of bling!), 2. Baby Pink Oval Sapphire with pave diamonds, 3. Hot Pink Oval with blue diamonds (looks like a chalice IRL), 4. Multi colored (Blue/Pink/Yellow)Sapphire Bamboo ring (the greens are Tsavorite Garnets), 5, Lavender Sapphire w/white sapphire accents. I LOVE SAPPHIRES! My husband says I have different ring for each day of the week including my other semi-precious rings....another one on the way too. I love my husband, lol!

Thank you I must say that exploring the world of gemstones and jewelry was the highlight of my stay there. Before I got there I had two rings (my wedding set) and I left with over 40 pieces (average one new ring a week 
). It has truly spoiled me from buying sapphires anywhere else.

I had seen several bamboo David Yurman type rings with topaz and citrine stones and was even considering having my jeweller make me a copycat one and then I saw this one in his store and it was a done deal! It's made me want to get a Tsavorite Garnet center stone ring b/c the green is really captivating.
Your sapphire collection is wonderful! I cannot wait to see the pics of the padparadscha sapphire! It's a strong orange one, isn't it? I love the bamboo multi-colored ring too!

I can't wait to see your padparadscha!!! the orange tones don't look good with my skin, so I'll just have to live vicariously through yours! I am dying for a green sapphire...maybe I'll get one this month???
