Can you tell me more about the leather? I’ve not come across this type of leather before and I am curious !

Hi I would desribed the leather is in between Swift and box, soft buttery like Swift, less rigid then box leather and it developed patina over time, easily scratched and can be wipes off but not totally if the sracthes is deeper.
I don't mind scratches as it develop own characters. I have chevre, box, Togo, clemence in collection and this is
my most favorite leather ❤️

The Plume itself dates to the 1960s. The waffle leather is officially called "Dwich" due to the process of sandwiching a material between the layers of leather for the 3D effect. I've confirmed this with a good source of truth, see the thread I posted (which was kindly linked above) for more details.

My husband has this exact Plume and LOVES it. He uses it frequently and it gets many looks/comments.
