Turquoise--one of my favorites.

Starting with my oldest beads, turquoise from Western Asia circa 2500 BC (triangular bead in center of middle strand, and small oblong beads scattered throughout, mostly green rather than blue) and Roman turquoise beads circa 1st to 4th centuries AD (blue beads in center of longest strand), mixed with other ancient beads.

Jumping way forward in time, turquoise nuggets from various US mines mixed with antique trade beads and semi-precious stones.

wow :smile1: amazing collection!

are you thinking of Ray Tracey?
I have a ring from his line. I actually met him at a store in AZ.
You have quite a collection!

lovely new purchases, sammy. The one bracelet reminds me of one of mine that I posted; but I have no idea of provenance and if the pieces are old or valuable. The multicolor squash blossom is new (1980's), by a well known artist whose name escapes me. He quit jewelry to go into acting LOL. I think he made the bear necklace as well.

I met Ray Tracey as well - I have a gorgeous piece he made for the Millenium - it's a pendant in gold set with inlaid stones. It's also made of two stylized pieces representing a man and a woman, and is reversible.

that sounds very special -gold and inlay :)
are you from AZ (Bisbee?)
I've gotten most of my silver jewelry in Prescott

No...but I visited a number of times and bought several pieces in Sedona. Bisbee is my cat...I have another named Sedona, and used to have one named Kachina!
