Hi ladies, thanks for posting your turquoise beauties!

For those who have had your pieces a long time, have you noticed a color change over time? Or for those pieces recently inherited, do you recall the color being different before?
I think I have my ring for 6 years, and no, color does not changed.

I love this thread! Everyone has such beautiful pieces. I really enjoyed looking at the squash blossom necklaces. I'll have to post a couple of my pieces over the weekend. Thanks for sharing your photos ladies.:D

I have been away from the computer for a bit and missed some of the posts and pics - all very nice pieces, ladies! I think the turquoise with gold is very pretty I too would like to see more pics if anyone has any or finds some more oneline pics.

Turquoise--one of my favorites.

Starting with my oldest beads, turquoise from Western Asia circa 2500 BC (triangular bead in center of middle strand, and small oblong beads scattered throughout, mostly green rather than blue) and Roman turquoise beads circa 1st to 4th centuries AD (blue beads in center of longest strand), mixed with other ancient beads.

Jumping way forward in time, turquoise nuggets from various US mines mixed with antique trade beads and semi-precious stones.

Heishi necklace also bought on the reservation in the 70s, with a vintage Native American coral and turquoise nugget necklace.

^Super collection, K. Those bead necklaces are just amazing. Did you assemble them yourself, or were they sold already strung?

Thanks, jellyv. I assembled them myself, although the one with the charms was a bracelet that just didn't look good on me, so I took it apart, removed some beads and charms that I didn't particularly like, and added some new stones to get the look I wanted.
