How do you care for your skins?
I followed other collectors' advice. I always, always store them in dustbags away from heat, make sure nothing is weighting them down or they are not leaning against anything in a weird position, clean and moist them regularly with Apple brand Leather Care. I also stuff some acid free tissue paper inside them to keep their shape

FYI... This one is a puzzle to me. I bought it online, thinking it was embossed, not real croc. When I got my hand on it, I found out the scales on the side gussets are real! I still cant tell if the other skins are real, too. They are textured so supple and feel real but I am not too sure about the scales pattern, being I am very new to exotic skins. The inside is lined with genuine leather. Anyone has any thoughts on this baby?

Be careful with Pierre Cardin bags, because a lot of them were made iin Hong Kong in the 1970s-1980s from embossed leather and not genuine skin.
