Shouldn't take it personally but..hit buying limit?

I don't know what to do... I can't buy anything online at Louisvuitton.com
By the way: sorry for my English, I'm from Austria!

What I bought this whole year 2020 (in June):
  • 2 Key Pouch (one for me & one for my sister)
  • 1 Shoulder Strap (for my Pochette Accessoires).

The other orders are from 2018! I haven't bought that much, so there couldn't be a limit!

I tried to buy the Mini Pochette Accessoires (sold out!!) last week, got an email and in my order history stands 'Pending Bank Transfer'... After 2 days my order has been cancelled for no reason!

After that, I tried to buy an notebook refill (just to try, if it works) and the same happens - order cancelled. I can't understand...
I can't go to the store & buy there because the item is SOLD OUT and they can't put me on the waiting list. So I need to buy it online - I refresh the website every hour, when I have time.

The address is the same and I use the same credit card like the last times. I have enough money on my bank account and my bank haven't blocked the payment because of fraud.

What can I do? do you have an idea, what's the problem? Have they blocked me?

Thank you for reading this, maybe we can find a solution or answer for this mess...

Have you returned some items? My mother also buys only online because the Vienna store is 2 hours away. After they cancelled several orders, she called the customer service and they told her she isn't allowed to buy online anymore because she returned too many times.

She is still banned a year and a half later.

How many items did she return?

I'm trying to get an idea of how many returns they limit people to.

Three bags were kept and I think three were returned. And the returns were rightful. For example: One twist had leather rings (where the chain is attached to the bag) in different colors - one was black and one was light grey. I mean - really? The LockMe BB had an super visibly scratch on the flap.
The CS told her if she is so nity-picky, then she should make an appointment in store where she can inspect every detail of the bags.
Pretty arrogant, huh?

That CS comment is very disturbing, she shouldn’t work as a customer service with that attitude.
I feel LV quality (both product & customer service) are getting worse while they keep increasing prices.

All my online orders are now being cancelled automatically..

Does anyone know what the purchase limit is and the time frame? I've purchase 9 small leather goods within the last 30 days and I can no longer order now.

I just want to know how long I have to wait until my next purchase.. :(

Hi, so sorry to hear that. But yes, you’ve reached the limit.

“To ensure better service and better availability of our products, Louis Vuitton limits the quantity of products that can be purchased as follows : no more than 3 leather goods (including small leather goods) per transaction, with no more than 2 identical products per such transaction. Also customers cannot, within 4 consecutive weeks, (i) buy more than 6 leather goods products (including small leather goods products), or (ii) buy in more than 3 different LV stores in the worldwide network, or (iii) conduct more than 8 transactions of all kind of products.

In any case the total number of purchased leather goods (including small leather goods products) will not exceed 12 products within 12 consecutive months.

To ensure the observance of those restrictions, Louis Vuitton Americas processes your purchase history. In case of non-observance, our client advisors may refuse further transactions with you, for a period of 2 years from your last purchase.”

Gosh that’s really a mean thing to say. Well, if I’m paying that much for a bag, I’ll like it to be without flaws.

I am relatively new to LV and purchased several SLGs and accessories. I am trying the smaller items before deciding on a bigger purchase. To my surprise I attempted to purchase a bandeau last evening and my order was cancelled. I contacted client services who initially told me it must have been my credit card. This was not the case as the purchases were showing up on my account and were being reversed by LV. I waited another day and attempted again - AND CANCELLED! I called customer service again only to be told there is a purchase limit and I had to wait 30 days to make another purchase. Is anyone else experiencing this issue and why do all client services advisors not have the same information?

Below is what is noted on website

Keep in mind the word "consecutive". If you skip a week or month below policy starts over.
