I had a couple when they first came out. They were heavy and the hardware scratched your arm.
Reissues of shoulder Birkins are slowly trickling into stores. These are Shoulder Birkin Light 29s: (images taken from resellers)
LOVE IT!!!! So glad it is more "bite sized" instead of that heavy monstrosity of yesteryear!!! Just wondering how it will be worn under the arm... I'd hate to have to close the bag up.
I love the original 42 shoulder Birkin, however at a UK size 8 and 5'2" it looks ridiculous at that length on me! It's great that they're coming in a smaller size but that handle drop doesn't look long enough to wear on the shoulder to me, does anyone know if you actually can?
Personally I'm not a fan of the proportions either- it looks distorted, like when you stretch or squash a font out of true. But function wise it sounds nice, and I think east-west bags are in fashion now?

I gave up and rehomed my original JPG shoulder birkin bc it was too heavy; too shallow from top to bottom; and too wide in depth (in addition to the tiret issue)

Personally, I am not a fan, again it reminds me of the Mini Jypsiere, which also feels proportionally "off".
